Midnight Snank.. snake… snack… sorry typo

What I really wanted to say is my midnight supper, anyway on my previous post about Saint Patrick's Day. I was at the Loft and not The Loaf!!!! THE LOFT AND NOT THE LOAF!!!!

Anyway back to my midnight supper, most of you would usually go to a fast food place after going for a drink with your friends. But did you know like for Mc Donald, for RM10++ what kind of value meal can you get? well 4 choice of cause. Will it be enough is what I am saying, in my case.. no it is not enough. Some times I would order 1 value meal and with a extra mc chicken, but that too might not be enough… but once in a while only (this is based on true facts.. facks? er how to spell ah?). But anyway most of the time it be enough, then again it would cost about RM16++ and which is not cheap!!!!

So what can I get if I went to a kedai kaling? Kaling means a muslim indian and kedai means shop. Anyway I usually would order

• Nasi Goreng Kampung (fry rice with fried ikan bilis)
• Mata Lembu (Half cook fried egg)
• Ayam goreng (Usually you see the one they goreng and place it on the… er.. the second where u choose the lauk?)

How much does it cost? well the nasi goreng kampung is about rm5, then egg is rm1.50 then the fried chicken is rm3. All those would add up to RM9.50 ONLY!!!! FOR RM9.50 YOU GET THIS STUFF.

See how much I get compare to mc donald or any other fast food outlet? Well just wanted to say this as I want to eat the food now.

Dinner at Salut restaurant

Went out for dinner with my sister, brother in-law, Zaid & Griselda. We had few stuff and while waiting I just took few shots of picture at the dark pitch view of the river. Google to retain ‘offensive’ contents Jothy's Fish Head Curry restaurant

“KOTA KINABALU: Search engine giant Google has said that it cannot remove Internet contents deemed offensive to a fish head curry restaurant here.

A company spokesman said in a statement that Google’s policy does not allow it to remove contents provided through its searches except for illegal matters such as child pornography among others.

Furthermore, the search results Google provided to users reflected the contents available on the Internet, the spokesman added.

“In these cases or in cases where we are compelled by local or international law to remove content, we make these actions transparent using public, third party sites such as ChillingEffects.com,” the official added.” Read More…

 

So google has said it, well I too kind of forgot that google don’t really have anything to do with it other then showing up the link leading to the third party site. I don’t understand how could anyone complain with Jothy’s fish head curry, maybe that person was just unlucky on his first time going there. I have been eating there since young and never did have any issue, well basically my whole family would go there on special occasion now days.

Those who go there should try ordering the “nasi briyani” with fish head curry. You still get the side dish with vege  and 4 scope of it, plus maybe some special spices fried chicken…. ok I am getting hungry just talking about it. Anyway if you are in k.k and from west Malaysia you should try going there. The family is from Penang (If I am not mistaken) My mom said so!!! I am just a third party saying what she said!! lol anyway they been around for some time and yes almost everyone know them.

Jothy's Fish Head Curry restaurant suing Google & Blogger

"KOTA KINABALU: A popular Indian cuisine restaurant here that is recommended by travel guide Lonely Planet, is suing a blogger and Google for defamation.
Jothy's Fish Head Curry restaurant director Tharumaraj Sivaperumal filed a RM6mil civil suit at the Kota Kinabalu High Court here Monday, naming blogger Poh Huai Bin as first defendant and California-based Google Inc as second defendant.
The suit is arising from some allegedly defamatory statements about Jothy's Fish Head Curry restaurant posted in May last year by Poh, originally from Sibu in Sarawak and now residing in Kuala Lumpur." Read More...

Always wondered what would happen if a normal person does a civil suit against google. So I just need to wait for the answer now, it might be a few years before we know the result.
