liesss

The RM1.8million budget is used for:

1.           Technical

1.1         Dedicated hardware deployment

1.2         Software licensing

1.3         Front end applications

1.4         Application Server engine

2.           Development of six (6) campaigns which requires:

2.1         Flash games engine

2.2         Flash programming & coding

2.3         Creative Development and Design

2.4         Campaigns Ideas and Concept

2.5         Front-end Flash Design

2.6         Testing and Debugging

3.           Campaign Promotions

3.1         Digital advertising campaigns on Google and Facebook

3.2         Contest, Page Wall and Tourism Fanpage Content Management

3.3         Collection and management of Database
************************************************************

Technical?
wah… must be a specialist.. did they hire bill gate son? no wait.. maybe must have been Rais who did the installation LOL

Dedicated Hardware deployment?
What the fuck is this? they bought a ipad or mac just to setup the FANPAGE??? LOL

Software licensing?
er.. they bought a mac and ipad then had to buy adobe flash.. oo this is gonna cost a lot but eh.. but they just sub to another company to do the work and I am sure that company already have their own software to do the work.... er.. what licensing are they talking about?

front end application????
If you guys don’t know what is this, well it means "User interface or that part of a software or a website that a user sees on the screen, and acts on to enter commands or to access other parts of the software or website. See also back end application." where by default when you create the fanpage it has already a front end application. SO WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS????

Application server engine?
Well every game has a engine build in, like cars has a engine and games like star craft and so on has large engine which take years to complete. Where flash game.. yes flash based game.. has small engine ok forget what I just said. Try asking your friends who know how to make flash animation and create a button which will make a dot move using cs4.  If you got some idea how flash work, here is a tutorial how to make your own flash game "Learn how to make a Flash game within minutes"

Development of six (6) campaigns which requires:
6 campaigns? er.. whats with the 6? just want to make your explanation more technical is it so people lazy read? lol

Campaign Promotions:
Google adword? er.. facebook?? like you have RTM LOL radio works much better but wait… "Curi-curi Wang Malaysia" page didn’t even spend a single sen on advertising… they got 34,749 fan now(10.41pm 6/15/2011) more then CutiCuti1Malaysia page 29,493 as at 10.41pm 06/15/2011.  wonder did Curi-curi Want Malaysia spend more.. eh no they spend more time informing us public about themselves and did not spend RM1.8 million!

Contest, Page Wall and Tourism Fanpage Content Management:
Wa.. what are you talking about this again. What management, who are the management? I thought Datuk Seri Ng Yen Yen and her Deputy Tourism Minister Datuk James Dawos Mamit  are the management? or they just goyang kaki and hire someone to do their job using the public money more then a million to do their work? You are getting paid by the rakyat to do your job, why hire someone else to manage it?

Collection and management of Database:
Collection.. and management database.. I am trying to convince myself think that you guys are hosting on your very own dedicated server but no.. you are using facebook fanpage. You don’t need to handle their big database.. you don’t even have access to that. So what database are you talking about? your illegal money is it?

Digi Free Broadband that cost me RM42.90

I was given a free broadband plan (just sim card) which is usable for 6 months. My friend got it from a annual digi dinner thing for all the hand phone shop community in Kota Kinabalu. At registration I was inform to pay advance RM30 in case I forgot to terminate it after 6 months of using. This is one of digi plan where they will charge according to the plan every month after the promotion was over. Where I did ask if I could take back the advance payment after 6 months, they counter said yes. So why should I not apply? So then today was already 6 months since I applied for it. I was inform that I had another 3 months to use for free and not get back my RM30. So I was like WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?? ah nevermind then, he inform me I could pay later but like I still need to pay it in the end right?

I insisted on terminating it and so he proceeded terminating it and then came another bill asking me to pay RM12.90 and like what is this for again? He bla bla bla bla and bla bla bla where none of it made any sense to me. I asked if he could just deduct from the 3 months advance payment which is not refundable and he said no. So like I had to pay additional rm12.90 despite paying RM30 for another 3 months advance which is not refundable? This is a bit too silly and more like cheating the consumer.

Why in the first place they said it was free when I had to fork out RM42.90 just to use it and end it? Since it was not nice of me to argue with the guy over there on this matter so I asked the online D’Chat thing. But only to be ignored:

hahahadigi

No respond after asking all that lol, I guess the guy on the keyboard too could no say anything because he himself know what they did is cheating. Well it may be a small amount but cheating 1 sen or 5 sen is still cheating. At lease I got a reply on facebook but then he just said the same thing as they did in the Digi outlet at api-api centre

scammeed

Notice a typo there lol wanted to say trial but I end up typing “trail” hahaha well then again I still got cheated.  Moral of the story? there are no such thing as free stuff anymore. So when someone claim it is free, beware he is trying to scam you into something just like Digi did to me and my friend.

But there is always E-Tribunal who claims:

“You feel cheated? Claim your right here. Fee can be paid via FPX payment online, counter or Post Money.”

I am still trying to fill up, a bit confusing because I was filling up another section and not this E-Tribunal thing just now lol

Why U.S and Malaysia are so difference still

In U.S

"The US government today took a bold step toward perhaps finally getting some offshore wind energy development going with $50 million in investment money and the promise of renewed effort to develop the energy source. The plan focuses on overcoming three key challenges (PDF) that have made offshore wind energy practically non-existent in the US: the relatively high cost of offshore wind energy; technical challenges surrounding installation, operations, and grid interconnection; and the lack of site data and experience with project permitting processes." Read more on Slashdot.org

In Malaysia

“KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Musa Aman’s dogged determination in wanting to proceed with the coal-fired power plant in Sabah is puzzling environmentalists and the opposition DAP.” Read more on freemalaysiatoday.com

Malaysia is using a old & dirty technology which will allow some of their minority people have more commission among their cronies and less environment friendly. I didn't see this on the local newspaper, I guess the government is starting to control the news again? So should the independence army start acting? wait.. I think all of them are in ISA.. or died with out ever telling the public they existed.. maybe there never was such army or ever be.

Then again, will Sabah ever be free from this bunch of racist & hypocrite government. I hate it but what can we minority Sabahan do now days after our ex pm injected Sabah with a lot outsider and making their race bigger to have more voters? Nothing.

Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) Resubmit DEIA report for review and approval

I already saw this coming, but well pretty much nothing new. If the government wanted to make money they just go ahead with out considering the effect of it in the future. Do it now or the money be taken back, for most Sabahan would know that the fly over that is currently being built seems to be pointless and yes it just make a longer traffic jam. Why did they go on? or why did they built it? Here are some stuff which may be true or rumors but then again it is up for you to believe it or not.

The fly over project was already being proposed back like 10 years ago or more and yes with proper study, surveying, months of car counting and a lot of documentation to state why must it be build. The design has already being submitted which will allow the traffic flow to move smoothly then the current design. It was rejected why? State government would not earn anything out of it and only the citizenship will. There was already a budget for it, countless of planning and brain storming was done when the budget was given to fully utilize the budget. But now the current fly being build is just some cheaper version of the proposed fly over and yes as long the state government build it the federal government would not take back the allocation given for it.

So what is the does this story have anything to do with the resubmission of the DEIA report? Well someone is pressuring the TNB guys to do the coal-powered plant so one of this government cronies will make millions or billions out of the project. It will not be the opposition of cause this is for sure, just look at the Mongolian model case. What happen to it? Some guy end up being a scape goat for the real culprit. If you talk too much they just use ISA and say you are disrupting the peace.

We Sabahan have given our vote to the current ruling party (I didn't vote for any why? do you need to even ask?) and what did they us back? They fuck our state up, steal all our natural resources and maybe yes maybe once all this is finish. They might just kick Sabah out of Malaysia or leave us for the opposition party to handle when it is already being fucked up and damage. Is any of the Sabahan realizing this?

Well talk, curse, scream and so on, it be hard to fight the government once they make their mind up. Who knows maybe they already brainwashed the guys who will approve this with money. So what can we people do? voting the opposition would not be any better from what I see. I would still prefer if we claim for independence and make Sabah as our own country with proper Government strict like Singapore and yes I would not mind if it was even a communist government like China. Because the current government talk only and no action.

Streamyx new Package!! Faster and Much more Expensive!!!! Part 3

Finally good news or could be just a trick to scam people into subscribing? Maybe it is just me complaining but what if they are using this as a bait to pancing (fish) people??

“PETALING JAYA: Good news. The download cap on Telekom Malaysia’s UniFi high speed broadband service packages has been suspended.

The telco made the announcement on the Twitter microblogging site yesterday and said it made the decision after taking into account public feedback on the cap.

“NO volume cap 4 all #unifi packages 4 now. Decision due to public feedback. TM will only monitor usage pattern 4 time being,” read the tweet.” Read More...

This is good but then will they really just leave it uncap and for how long? Have a look at astro in a year maybe your bill went up from 60 to 70 and for what? new billing system crap or something like that. What happen when the public complain? NOTHING!

What is my advise to you all? use the basic, don’t bother trying to upgrade your speed because it will not really make much difference other then downloading your porn movies faster. Did you know it is illegal to download a copyright movie online? well not that nobody knows it is just that buying an Original in Malaysia is not really original. You see the movie cutting all the sexy part, removing some words, and anything to do with religion especially toward Islam might get banned. But anyway back to the point, don’t bother wasting your money on this new streamyx Package. You have been living in Malaysia, using the only monopolize ISP in Malaysia and you should understand they are making TONS OF MONEY.

Unless they can confirm you that this new package will never get capped and lowering the price then go for it. But for now… just say :

Streamyx new Package!! Faster and Much more Expensive!!!! Part 2

There I was looking at my laptop screen at The Star news yesterday. Hoping for some good news from streamyx at lease I thought so. But to my disappointment it is not a good news, it is a unfair package more like it. But no I am not alone in this matter as there are others just like me and not only that it is on The Star news too!!! here are few of them complaining

“I wonder why TM embarked on this so-called High Speed Broadband project when even its present “low” speed is not maintained properly.

This month alone, I had a “port” problem thrice. I was unable to read my Streamyx webmail from overseas.

Calls to its service centre were met with, “Sir, it’s normal for our webmail to be like that.”

MALAYSIAN ARAB,
Shah Alam.”

HAHAHAHa now this is goooooood what are they going to answer to this good custormer?? heh useless ISP. Then he too is not alone.. there is Jo Timbuong who too wrote an artical about this:

“PETALING JAYA: After the excitement of Telekom Malaysia unveiling UniFi, its high-speed broadband service that offers Internet speeds of up to 20 megabits per second (Mbps), the bubble burst for many consumers here.

Some are disappointed over what they feel are expensive charges for the packages for home users: RM149 for 5Mbps, RM199 for 10Mbps, and RM249 for 20Mbps.

In Singapore, a 1Gbps (gigabit per second) service – which is five times the speed of a 20Mbps connection – only costs about RM200.

But the real disappointment is the realisation that the UniFi packages have a cap on the amount of data that can be downloaded.” Read More...

Well I am very sure there are many more who is complaining like in Lowyat as this is like so shit. Already lar our car tax so high, now we the rakyat thinking waa finally we get a chance to feel high speed broadband just like other country only to get disappointment as we can’t afford it. What the Telekom CEO has to say about it?

“Datuk Zamzamzairani Mohd Isa said at a press conference to announce the UniFi pricing yesterday that the measures were part of its Fair Usage Policy.

“This policy is a standard industry practice to ensure that all subscribers get to enjoy the same web surfing quality,” he said.” Read more…

What he says? Fair usage Policy? what the hell is that was there such thing saying it is a fair price? Were they asking the rich people to do the policy? I think this ceo is dumb. Wonder how did he end up there or is he just a proxy for some one? ba.. nvm I am just sticking with my rm66 package plus my never used telephone line which cost additional rm28 i think… Yes now days where got people use the house phone, almost every malaysian born and living has uses a Mobile phone.

Streamyx new Package!! Faster and Much more Expensive!!!!

Most of the Malaysian would have heard of this by now regarding the latest package from our monopolize ISP. So whats new?

“The 5Mbps package has a 60GB monthly cap on downloads RM149 per month, the 10Mbps package has a 90GB cap at RM199 per month, and the 20Mbps package has a 120GB cap at RM249. To compare, a typical two-hour high-definition movie is about 8GB in size.” Read more...

With this new package out I am sure a lot of us would subscribe to it only if it was not capped. Well they became much smarter and followed the other country by capping it and making it less affordable for the lower income group. This is what they said for the package that has no cap:

“There are no caps on the corporate packages, but prices are much higher. Companies will have to pay RM199 a month for 5Mbps, RM599 for 10Mbps, and RM899 for 20Mbps.”

Omg it is only available on corporate package but at a higher price!!!!  So you guys ready for the capped internet line? They can’t even maintain the stability of our ADSL connection and now they are thinking of setting a cap?

Wonder how those people who are downloading 1gb or 2gb file where the server does not support resume function get disconnected at 90% before completion of the download feel after taking on this package.. lol

Only in Malaysia – “Some things are simply impossible” by P. GUNASEGARAM

Two prices for petrol won’t work, not even in Malaysia

IT IS May 1. Malaysia is in the midst of a major experiment. It is, in the true spirit of “Malaysia Boleh”, embarking on something that had never before been done anywhere, anytime successfully.

If we succeed, it would be yet another world first. It would dwarf the Petronas twin towers in terms of impact. Climbing Everest – which has been done by over 1,500 people – will be nothing in comparison.

Sailing around the world has been done many times before and is no longer necessary since we have powered boats, but that will be a tiny drop in the oceans sailed compared with what we are attempting to do now.

On that day, I take my 20-year-old BMW 525i — those of you who know cars know that it has a 2.5 litre engine but the car value is less than RM25,000, way below the price of any new car — to the petrol station.

I go to the pump where petrol costs RM1.80 a litre, but no, they look at my car and say that it definitely does not have an engine capacity of 1.6 litres or less. That means I can’t fill up there, they say. Go that way and pay RM2.10 a litre.

Why? I asked. I am not rich, but I am not poor either. Why ask me to pay the price the rich pay for their petrol? Just because I drive a high engine capacity car (its terribly old, by the way), does that mean that I am rich and therefore must pay more for my petrol?

The petrol pump attendant looks askance at me. He’s pleading with his eyes. Behind me, a Haji waits with his old Mercedes Benz in tense negotiation with another pump attendant. There are three or four negotiations going on.

In petrol kiosks across the nation these scenes are repeated – it takes 30 minutes to fill up your tank even if you drive a car with an engine capacity of 1600cc or less. But then, this is Malaysia, the land where anything can, and does, happen.

By this time, the petrol attendant has a twinkle in his eye. “Sir,” he begins, hopefully, “you fill up your tank at the old price, but you just pay RM5 to me, OK? You win, I win.”

I do some quick calculations. A full tank will mean at least 60 litres. At 30 sen a litre, I save RM18. Give him RM5 and I am still RM13 up. Yes, that’s a good deal, far better than having to pay RM18. I signal to him.

In a thrice the price changes on the display. I fill up, and surreptitiously hand over the five bucks. I saunter over to my car, start it and nonchalantly drive away. Another day in boleh-land.

Poor Pak Haji has more scruples. He continues to protest but for him, poor as he was, it will be higher prices for petrol. But unlike Pak Haji, most people are quite happy to avoid paying their dues to the Government.

Back home, I turn on the TV to watch the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister aver that this latest move to have one price for the rich and one for the poor will save the government hundreds of millions of ringgit a year. Really?

You might know that we already have had two prices for diesel. Fishermen pay lower prices. Can you guess what happened? Their consumption of diesel increased considerably – I think it was two- or three-fold over two to three years. But here’s the strange thing: the amount of fish caught did not – it declined!

How is that? I don’t think they went on joy rides on subsidised diesel. There is just one explanation – the fishermen, at least some of them, were siphoning off the diesel to sell it to others at higher prices.

It made them richer, but I am sure that was not the way the Government – or the public – wanted it.

When you subsidise everyone, it is easy. One price for everyone. The only problem is smuggling across the borders. And since oil is a bulky item that requires considerable storage capacity, it is not easy, provided Customs officials are straight and vigilant.

Oh, Malaysia, my heart bleeds for this country of mine (and yours too). The solution is so simple and yet we don’t see it – which has to mean that we don’t want to see it. We want to touch our noses by moving our hands behind our heads first.

There is just one way to solve the subsidy problem – much like the solution to the AP (approved permit) problem. Simply abolish it – and that goes for the associated taxes too. (If we have a tax that is greater than the subsidy, we are NOT subsidising the product.)

That way, everybody pays the true price of goods. If prices go up, we all pay for it. If prices go down, we all benefit from it. If we use more of it, we will pay more, and vice versa. The rich will use more oil and they will pay for it. The poor use less and pay less. Simple.

We must have just one price for one grade of product. If the world price moves too high, and considering that we are net exporters of energy, we may choose to subsidise the oil price. But still, one price is what we must have. Anything else spells disaster.

If the Government wants to relieve the burden on the poor, then simply establish an effective, tamper-proof, independent and objective system to determine who are the poor and give the money directly to them.

Some things are impossible, notwithstanding our penchant to try for the unachievable. When there are two prices for the same product at the same place, then someone other than the Government will benefit from arbitraging between the two. You can bet your life on that.

Managing editor P. Gunasegaram hopes that no enforcement officer comes knocking at his door. He was merely building a scenario and has no intention of paying any money under the counter. Promise!

Shop owner striped and taken nude picture by potential tenant.

"The robbers had contacted her and made an appointment to meet her at the shop lot. Telling her, they wanted to rent the shop lot. But instead they robbed the woman of RM200, her handbag, a mobile phone and also forced her to strip. Then they took pictures of her. Also forced her to give them the personal identification number of her automated teller machine card before making their getaway". Real More

The lady must have really gotten pissed off. Not only she was cheated thinking she finally found somebody willing to rent her shop. She was also rob and being humiliate while being pictured in nude... It really sucks for such incident to happen but... how NST reported it... LOL I cannot help not laughing while reading it.
