TM e-mail account will remain active until 1 December 2013

I just receive a notification from TM and they are finally shutting down their email services. TM will not be accepting any new registrations for all TM e-mail services (with the domain Streamyx.com, tm.net.my, hsbb.com.my, bluehyppo.com and unifi.my) effective immediately. Would be a good idea to shut it down since they not earning any profit from this this. Plus like fuck anyone is going to pay for an upgrade if we want extra space in the mail server haha

I been using the streamyx.com domain for most of my work related since that is the only email I have which has my full name initial. Other then that, the 4mb mail space really sucks.

How to make TM Operator feel dumb

Most Streamyx user by now should know the procedure to file a report if your internet line goes down. My one went down last night around 11pm and was inform that my account is being suspended for not paid. Only problem was, the last month bill was paid already and they have not even issue this month bill. So what is this TM operator talking about?

She could not answer me then advise me to ask the billing department tomorrow morning. So I said good night and yes a bit annoyed but we can’t really do anything about it and went go bed thinking how to start cursing at them tomorrow morning.

As morning arrive, I went to the office and started calling the billing department at 100. Spoke with the operator and she then inform me there is nothing wrong with my account…. (SO WHAT THE FUCK WAS GOING ON?????) I told her off asking why did the tm operator last night told me to call up the billing department. She could not answer and told me she will transfer me to the technical department (They start passing to the right people once you rise up your voice, so do it often!!).

Again it was another lady operator on the phone, I told her the grandmother story from 11pm till the billing operator story and she just kept quiet (seems like she is used of listening to crap). Anyway I gave my username and phone number then she asked back the regular question.

Operator: is your computer connected to a wireless connection or cable?
Me: It is on cable, I tried another new and there is still no connection. The DSL light is stable for both ADSL ROUTER but could not get connected. I checked the log in the router and it said username/password authentication failed says the log.
Operator: ok sir, what windows are you using sir?
Me: (With out hesitation I try saying a non common operating system) I am using Ubuntu a linux operating system.
Operator: Windows Ubuntu sir?
Me: (TRYING HARD NOT TO LAUGH) No, it is a Linux distro called Ubuntu which is a operating system too.
Operator: Ok sir, so you are using Windows Linux Ubuntu?
Me: YES! (Just to make her feel happy so I said yes HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA)
Operator: Sir this is your report number “xxxxxxxx” do you need any other assistant sir?
Me: no, thank you.
Hang up.

So moral of the story, try not to ask so much question and just put internet down if someone already did everything including changing modem and still can’t get connected. Just noted down “user streamyx account has a problem” or any other much more easy sentence to understand.

Slow internet connection?

Since last week most of the streamyx user have been feeling slow internet surfing, video streaming such as youtube and so on. It is all due to a fault on the Asia-America Gateway (AAG) submarine cable network between Tungku in Brunei and Lantau in Hong Kong linking Malaysia to the United States and North Asia.

In a more simpler explanation or example could be such as this scenario:

“The usual road which Najib usual take in the morning to reach his office is block due to landslide. Where only alternative is using a old road which is single lane and this affect all the other few million workers. Which will cause a massive traffic jam just to reach the destination making him late for his Monday meeting in the office.”

INTERNET SERVICES DISRUPTION DUE TO AAG FAULT - RESTORATION UNDERWAY

Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) wishes to announce that our consortium members have detected a fault on the Asia-America Gateway (AAG) submarine cable network between Tungku in Brunei and Lantau in Hong Kong linking Malaysia to the United States and North Asia. Immediate restoration works are underway from Saturday, 7 January 2012 and are expected to be completed on Friday, 13 January 2012. 

TM has taken pro-active steps by optimizing our networks to reduce congestion, thus, minimizing the impact to our users.

However, despite these initiatives, customers using Internet nationwide may experience some degree of service degradation during this exercise.

Internet users may experience some degree of service degradation such as slow browsing and high latency while accessing international websites mainly hosted in the United States (US), North Asia and Europe. Customers using Virtual Private Network (VPN) and other critical business applications linked to US, North Asia and Europe may also experience some level of service degradation. 

TM shall provide necessary updates on the progress of the restoration works, and would like to elicit feedback from our customers on the quality of service experienced. 

We apologize for any inconvenience caused and would like to assure customers that we are undertaking all necessary measures to ensure that customers experience uninterrupted service.

Another day with TmNuts (Tmnet) 100 operator

 

 

Here is my experience when dialing 100 for tm help line:

I called 100 the first department i asked was product.. number 3 button i think. Then the lady operator answered, I said my email account is still down and then she kept asking what is my position in this company i am working for verification.. I asked back “what the fuck is that for when this is my personal email”, she cannot answer and keep saying verification. Then finally she say will pass to technical department at the same time inform me if the line got cut just dial back 100.

The line did cut and had to use another number to call them for some odd reason because the same number cannot dial 100 anymore.

Technical department, also another useless department I ask to activate the account they say cannot and don't know how. So I said to towards the operator "you are useless lar?" he kept quiet and can’t seem to know how to answer. I had to break the ice and ask how long again need to wait, then he say got to ask billing department. He say will pass the line to billing department and ask to dial back 100 if got cut off. I told him off by asking “why do I need to keep on calling back again, as this is the be the second time the line be cut off if you say like this”. He kept quiet again then inform me he will try to get the billing department to answer me.

Billing department, more useless ask me same stuff all then say will activate the account in another 24 hours. I ask him so I need to wait 48 hours just to activate the account? he say cause the account been cut off. But I told him again it was paid in the morning and being cut in the afternoon so whose fault is it? He blame the pos office, cause need 3 working days. Then I said “that has nothing to do with my account I got the receipt and can prove I paid it in the morning where this is your problem not mine”. He froze up too and like there was nobody there for a few second. So I asked him why can’t they just activate the account manually when they are all connected, he can’t even answer this and said the same thing “Cannot do”. At lease this time he said will try to assist me getting the account activated by today and still acting professionally he asked “Is there anything else I can help you with?” But me pissing off just said get the issue done as soon as possible and hang up the call.

Moments later I receive a call from this number 013-3945728, it was a lady I think who claim to be the manager or something. Speaking with her manglish style English, “Hi sir tis is tm call you got a problem with you tmnet is it?” I was wondering this is the manager? did she spread her legs to get a manager position? well never mind that but I asked “ I been trying to access my email since this morning, all my tm services was cut after making a payment yesterday morning. Is this how you all do your work?” and continue on with “So how long do I have to wait for my account to be reconnected? why is the email even being deactivate when it has no relation with the broadband connection other then the same username?” but yes.. to a manager who got her position by spreading her legs how is it possible to answer such simple technical question? well she said “No sir, we cannot do like that cause the account suspended so all also suspend” fuh such a good answer. So like fuck it I asked again “why can’t you just manually activate it??”.  Then she said “No we cannot do that sir, our system don’t allow that.” so I was thinking… are using er.. UBS accounting or tm billing system? Well nvm that so continue on asking her “So what time can the account be activated if all also you cannot do?” then she was like “err noon time” I asked back “what time in noon? 3? 2? or 12??” then she blur blur and say “not sure” I gotten a bit piss off again now. I said “ can’t you even see how long is it to activate it?? I want a confirmation not some useless answer.” then she finally confirm it by saying “at 2 pm sir your account be activated. I just said ok then and hand up the phone.

 

Conclusion?
Got a problem try calling 013-3945728 this person maybe can help you. If not you can just ask if she can service you under the table until your tm product is activate back don’t forget to invite your friends, this could be a first class prostitute manager.

Gaya Street night market

I was at gaya street last saturday night time, went there after attending Aziz second day wedding thing. Anyway the street was colorful and yes main reason of me going there was to take photo. Then again seems like I failed to get any good effect photo but did manage to get a good shot of some girls hahaha

 

The street was just pack of people visiting the night market bringing their family and spouse. Not only attracting family and couples, but from what I notice.. almost everyone seems to be holding a DSLR. I guess it is really becoming a trend to own 1 now days due to its capability compare to a digital camera.

Anyway spotted a few stalls which was difference from the rest, why? because they are giving out prize!!! yes it was a game stall!!! traditional games as in none game console or anything to do with digital lol

Streamyx new Package!! Faster and Much more Expensive!!!! Part 3

Finally good news or could be just a trick to scam people into subscribing? Maybe it is just me complaining but what if they are using this as a bait to pancing (fish) people??

“PETALING JAYA: Good news. The download cap on Telekom Malaysia’s UniFi high speed broadband service packages has been suspended.

The telco made the announcement on the Twitter microblogging site yesterday and said it made the decision after taking into account public feedback on the cap.

“NO volume cap 4 all #unifi packages 4 now. Decision due to public feedback. TM will only monitor usage pattern 4 time being,” read the tweet.” Read More...

This is good but then will they really just leave it uncap and for how long? Have a look at astro in a year maybe your bill went up from 60 to 70 and for what? new billing system crap or something like that. What happen when the public complain? NOTHING!

What is my advise to you all? use the basic, don’t bother trying to upgrade your speed because it will not really make much difference other then downloading your porn movies faster. Did you know it is illegal to download a copyright movie online? well not that nobody knows it is just that buying an Original in Malaysia is not really original. You see the movie cutting all the sexy part, removing some words, and anything to do with religion especially toward Islam might get banned. But anyway back to the point, don’t bother wasting your money on this new streamyx Package. You have been living in Malaysia, using the only monopolize ISP in Malaysia and you should understand they are making TONS OF MONEY.

Unless they can confirm you that this new package will never get capped and lowering the price then go for it. But for now… just say :

But to my disappointment it is not a good news, it is a unfair package more like it. But no I am not alone in this matter as there are others just like me and not only that it is on The Star news too!!! here are few of them complaining

“I wonder why TM embarked on this so-called High Speed Broadband project when even its present “low” speed is not maintained properly.

This month alone, I had a “port” problem thrice. I was unable to read my Streamyx webmail from overseas.

Calls to its service centre were met with, “Sir, it’s normal for our webmail to be like that.”

Well I am very sure there are many more who is complaining like in Lowyat as this is like so shit. Already lar our car tax so high, now we the rakyat thinking waa finally we get a chance to feel high speed broadband just like other country only to get disappointment as we can’t afford it. What the Telekom CEO has to say about it?

What he says? Fair usage Policy? what the hell is that was there such thing saying it is a fair price? Were they asking the rich people to do the policy? I think this ceo is dumb. Wonder how did he end up there or is he just a proxy for some one? ba.. nvm I am just sticking with my rm66 package plus my never used telephone line which cost additional rm28 i think… Yes now days where got people use the house phone, almost every malaysian born and living has uses a Mobile phone.

Most of the Malaysian would have heard of this by now regarding the latest package from our monopolize ISP. So whats new?

“The 5Mbps package has a 60GB monthly cap on downloads RM149 per month, the 10Mbps package has a 90GB cap at RM199 per month, and the 20Mbps package has a 120GB cap at RM249. To compare, a typical two-hour high-definition movie is about 8GB in size.” Read more...

With this new package out I am sure a lot of us would subscribe to it only if it was not capped. Well they became much smarter and followed the other country by capping it and making it less affordable for the lower income group. This is what they said for the package that has no cap:

“There are no caps on the corporate packages, but prices are much higher. Companies will have to pay RM199 a month for 5Mbps, RM599 for 10Mbps, and RM899 for 20Mbps.”

Omg it is only available on corporate package but at a higher price!!!!  So you guys ready for the capped internet line? They can’t even maintain the stability of our ADSL connection and now they are thinking of setting a cap?

Wonder how those people who are downloading 1gb or 2gb file where the server does not support resume function get disconnected at 90% before completion of the download feel after taking on this package.. lol

Well for most of you who are from Malaysia, would have notice that you can’t access Mr. Gutter website. If you added him in facebook you would know the reason :)

Digi Broadband Package

Well for those Digi users especially in Kota Kinabalu would have notice Digi road show in few areas. At the moment they are trying to promote their broadband service and well I could say it be reasonable for the rich. Like just look at the package:

Well I am using streamyx also with tm hospot almost every where & also free wifi provided by most cafe. Why would you want to subscribe to this kind of service?

If you are a businessman or women, I would recommend you to apply for this service. As you need to travel and there are certain time when streamyx is just hopeless. So those so called free wifi, tm hotspot, yes they be down if the line is down again. If you are a Malaysian I am very sure you have subscribe to streamyx and have cursed during midnight either because of the slow connection or it is just down again for some odd unreasonable reason.

Streamyx Spam mail again Hypp.TV free trial!!!!!

I receive an email today with this new Hypp.TV promotion. I think it is something similar to Youtube, only thing that pop outs of my mind now is who the fuck wanna register for this if there is Youtube? Well nvm, maybe there is something on the site that I can read and see what they got that YouTube don't.

Well you get a free trial for 2 weeks... but after 2 weeks what happen? I cannot find any information about that. While youtube is like.. erm.. Free? Has been around since 2005 and I have not receive any email asking me to pay. Ok... I am not going to say much why don't you guys just check it out and leave me a comment about how good this Malaysian version of Youtube is lol... (copycat)

STREAMYX SERVICE INTERRUPTION IN SUNGAI BESI, KUALA LUMPUR

I just manage to access TM Website today as it was like down for the whole 2 weeks or so. There had 2 new announcement and this is one of the announcement:
Dear Valued Customers,

We wish to inform our Streamyx customers that Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) will be performing a network upgrading exercise from 11.00 pm, Wednesday, 22th April 2009 until 6.00 am, Thursday, 23rd April 2009.

As a result, Streamyx customers in Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur may experience a disruption of service during the stipulated period. We would like to assure you that the service would resume to normal after this period.

TM apologizes for any inconvenience caused whilst the same time, we would like to assure you that we are upgrading our network to enable us to serve you better.

Customers can call TM at 100 and select “Internet Services” or e-mail us at help@tm.com.my for any Streamyx related problems.

Blogger Life VS Real Life

How many of you people ever thought of becoming a full time blogger? Everybody? some some? For me I have thought about this and always wondered about it too. So what are the first few things I should look for?
For me it is more to the payout. What are the first few things to highlight or that is common?

How much can I make?
How fast is the payment?
How convenient is it to take the money?
Will I be taxed?

Blogger Life
So lets be frank here; “How much do I really make from those advertisement serving program that pays you?”
Like me I have registered a few blogs & website, where I can generate about USD$0.30 – USD$1.12 roughly per day from AdSense. Where from Nuffnang I too make the same amount maybe slightly more. Initially at the end of the month I don’t think it be enough to even pay my TMNUT’S bill. But all this would increase depending on how much traffic does your blog or website receive and it increase as more people visit your blog or site.

Real Life
So in reality where I would mean “How much can I earn going out of my house and work under a chinaman boss?”
I have more then 5 years experience in the I.T field, I can easily Identify what is wrong with any I.T related problem and able to overcome it. Not all as there is still area which does not cover my knowledge as in Programming. Then again I always give the best to my employer where I be easily exploited and earning a static amount of payout at the end of the month. While the employer earns 3 or 4 times from what I earn maybe even enough to buy a brand new Ninja King.

How much would a Chinaman boss pay if he finds someone like me? I can say the roughly estimate pay I get while working for a company is MYR60.00 - MYR85.00 per day. I do know the figure but don't want to tell the world how much do I really earn right, so I divided it into 30 days.

But back to the main point, I can afford to pay my bill's loan and a bit of entertainment (Drinking alcohol). Where the insecure financial feeling is being reduce to a minimum state and usually would make anyone happy.

So lets compare between the two Job

Get arrested by ISA for accidently posting something the Government don’t like. Nobody can help.	The boss always be there to settle anything if you get arrested all a sudden while on the job.
The site may close down and you are too old & fat to find a real life job.	You have good contact establish while being employed and maybe even being head hunted.
Do not have a retirement saving.	As you reach 55 and ready to retire you might have half a million in KWSP

This comparisons is from myself and my thinking. Anybody out there is free to use it or edit it for their own.

So what about tax?

How many of us here have actually paid for tax? I have not registered myself, I don’t think I would want to to register for it as it is a repeating process till you die. Even if you do not have a income you got to submit your income tax form. Silly may it be but yes the government do not want to miss out their chance to tax the moment you make a come back :)

But for the tax thing, I am not fully aware myself if any of the Malaysian Blogger or Non Malaysian blogger are being taxed. As most would not want to write how much are they being taxed or nor do they want to be find out they are eligible to be taxed. I cannot talk much about tax because I am not eligible to be taxed yet, as the requirement in Malaysia to be tax are those earning MYR2,800.00 and above. But I think they rise it up to RM3,000.00 some time ago.

Streamyx Service Interuption

I could not access any of my favorites site and blog. So what the fuck is wrong with streamyx again? Well at lease they got a reason now:

"Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) wishes to announce that there is a disruption of its Internet services due to circuit faults on the SMW3 between Tuas, Singapore and Penang linking Malaysia to Hong Kong and APCN2 near Chongming, China connecting Malaysia to the United States. As a result, customers using the Internet services may experience slow browsing while accessing websites hosted in the U.S. and Hong Kong." Read more..

So yes Malaysian, Asian, and don't know who else is effected. Is experiencing slow internet access towards site like Blogger, facebook and so on. Only towards international site, as for the local one it is still fast.

Streamyx Acting up again

Again here I am at home, not being to update my AVG antivirus, nor am I being able to access most of the international site. So what the fuck is wrong with streamyx again. Why can we Malaysian not have a stable ISP, have multiple choice of ISP, have BETTER CUSTORMER SERVICE & RIGHTS?????????

Slow connection

My streamyx connection the past few days is really making me frustrated. I got to download tons of stuff being requested and not to mention each time I format a pc there is like 100 over stuff to download from the windows update. I do really wish there is another ISP out there or someone who really want to help the country and not making tons of money after monopolizing the market here in Malaysia.

Then speaking of frustration, my job now is not really helping out too. Well it is my first sales job so I can’t really say much but then even my new branch Manager is having a hard time. So yes people in Sabah have been cheated so much time that they do not believe anything much other then the bank. Then again do they really understand how the bank works? Just because the bank in Malaysia has a license from Bank Negara, people think it is safe to invest. Most of the people I called up said we must have a license from bank negara.:

So what make us difference? Well first of all we did try to apply for a license from Bank Negara, but they mention we do not fall under the collective skim. To cut it short it means deposit taking from the public and using the deposit to buy the product. Where we already own the product, it belongs to us and we are selling it direct to them and not using the public money to buy the product. TM Staff not earning enough and go on selling drug?

Well the only reason 1 would be selling drugs is to earn more money. Other then that he could have been frame by people. I don't know him personally so I am just assuming all this. But 1 thing i know TM must have not been paying their staff well enough for 1 to do this.

Since they are not paid good enough, why would they work hard for tm. So what happen when we call them to report our streamyx connection being down? Nothing. Wait like 2-3 days time and if you are lucky the technician might call you and ask if your connection is fine already. What would they do between those 2-3 days time? their have their own side income to make. They would finish their side income first before doing streamyx problem :)
