It didn’t take that long to check on this one particular guy, why? because he is the opposition. The government will do anything to make sure the opposition loose the next general election. Checking their bumi status is one of them, how do they check if he is a kadazan, suluk, or bugis that is local? they check it by their parents. So if he is married to a local, who is a kadazan, or sino he still can’t follow the wife or husband race in Malaysia…. wait.. no actually that is only for West Malaysia.

In Sabah I remember you can follow either one religion & race. Not a really common knowledge but yes it is possible due to the difference law we have. If your wife is a kadazan and you are a japanese, it is possible to follow the spouse race and religion then again due to the Federal Government seems to be slowly changing everything about the 20 points agreement including our religion. Why do I know about this? My grandfather was one of those who change his race and followed my grandmother. But yes he was not the only one. 

Then again it could be a issue he use against the court later on if his wife is a local. Anyway if they got the time to check on one parliament bumi status, why don’t they check on all those PTI who manage to get blue MyKad? I mean they should enforce the royal commission of inquiry regarding this issue. So what is actually holding them up?

Phantom Voters

Is all I can say think off.. In one of Najib previous statement, he said “Sabah & Sarawak is B.N fix desposit” Google It. Makes you wonder if there is any deeper meaning to it. For most Malaysian in the west they be thinking like are Sabahan & Sarawakian that stupid to give their full support with B.N? Yes I have seen comments in forums, RPK blog, and so on. I mean like Sabah did not accept any post dated cheque, then claim their were cheated (On the news) after trying to cash out on the written date of the cheque. Plus if you all notice why are they not doing the royal commission of inquiry even after being pressured by the Sabahan.

Well I would assume that majority of those voters are part of Project I.C and yes they were once non Bumi Sabahan. So will their bumi status be stripped if this was true? I hope so. Because it is not fair for Jimmy Wong to be the only one stripped his bumi status because he is a not a converted local bumi chinese. Converted as in changing his religion, then again what can the real Local Sabahan do now since the converted to local native population is more then the real local? This is really a twisted work of Project I.C and to the person who suggested this project. I hope he get sodomized in hell by Hitler.

So how do one check if it is fake or not? well most of the bank has already inform all their client that they will never send an email asking for password update, profile update, or what ever now days. But I do believe most of the victim only learn their lesson after getting scammed by it. Plus when one receive such email they just get panic haha

Anyway the basic step to identify if it is a fake mail or not is by looking at the URL Address. You notice the “here” is blue color which means it is a shortcut link to the fake update page. If you right click on it and copy the hyperlink shortcut or copy url depending on your email client or browser. You have few option of copying the URL address, as for this one the address be looking like this:

Downloading Diablo III now…

I really wanted the Diablo III Collector's Edition, but seems like I am out of luck. People must have waited days on their computer screen to pre order that. Where I just found out everything today and so fuck it lol I am getting myself the digital copy which cost me SGD 90 which would be around 218.123 MYR after converting from XE site.

 

Seems like the client is able to resume download.. tried downloading till 2mb and exited the downloader. When I run it again it started of on 2mb again after doing a file check I think. You still need to choose back the same folder as there be a option on where you want to save the game into.

The seller at Lowyat is selling a physical copy for around MYR 180-190 you can order it from this thread. I didn’t feel like getting a box if it is just normal, it’s not like I got a set of original diablo stuff around my room. It is still look cheaper to get a hard copy then the Digital Copy but well I guess we are paying extra to play the game on the first day. So FUCK IT LOL.

Using your domain name as your mail server

I guess this post is more to those I.T people who wish to do some budget cut on their website. As most people be wondering why did I do this also.

Anyway back to the story, for most user who owns a domain they have a cpanel and from there you can manage everything on the site such as uploading files and even editing the website too. Cpanel is included if you buy the hosting plan, meaning you are buying some space on their server to host your website. So what if you just want the domain and use blogger as your host? I am doing that. There is a lot free layout to be downloaded too and you just need to pick them out. But now here is the problem, if you are just paying for the domain which is roughly around RM40-RM60. You will not get the space to host your picture, musics, and yes mail too.

So if you got a domain like www.example.com but using example@gmail.com? don’t really look good if you are running an online business website. Then there are some of you who are just prefer to use Gmail too, so what is the solution? fear no more, there is Google Apps now.

But don’t click on the free trail!!! unless you got a big company yes but if it is just less then 10 people in your company. Choose Google Apps (free) located somewhere on the bottom left of this site. Not direct link as it took me a while to find it!!, so anyway from there on you see a comparison chart showing benefit of business package and free package:

 

I do believe you don’t need Additional business apps, 25gb email storage, and Business support. If you need this 3 then you must have a server admin or some i.t guy in your company who has a Degree in computer science or I.T. Because it be too complicated for you to handle it yourself.

So just like any registration you need to fill up all the information and yes first thing you got to fill up is your domain name . But if you notice on the right side where you got to submit your domain name… there is a option to buy a new domain for USD10 and that is like RM30+ after converting. My domain is hosted on Exabytes and it cost me RM63 to renew every year… so much difference.

Next step would be verifying your domain, if you still got a host it be easy by just uploading the html file. But in my case.. the site was hosted on blogger and the next option is to use a meta tag. You just got to place the tag right after <head> on your blogger design setting. Pretty much simple… if blogger supported it, but no they don’t seem to support it and each time I place the code… it changes the format and Google Apps can’t find the syntax on the site source code. I didn’t take a print screen for that as it was pissing me off more lol. Anyway the third option is more easy and choose that one… There are 4 methods to verify actually:

• Create a TXT record in your domain's DNS settings.
  This method requires accessing DNS settings for your domain at your domain host's website.
• Upload an HTML file to your domain's web server
  This method requires being able to upload files to your domain's web server. Try doing this if you don't have access to your domain's DNS settings.
• Add a <meta> tag to your home page
  This method is available only for some customers (it's another new method we're rolling out). It requires accessing your domain's web server but not uploading to it. Try doing this if you have write access to files on the server but can't upload new files.
• Verify using your Google Analytics tracking code
  This method requires that you have a Google Analytics account for the same domain you're signing up for Google Apps.

I picked the Create a TXT record, as I still got a panel to set the DNS setting which could be accessed at Exabytes billing section. You will be given a code like this:

So just fill up the code like this:

For Exabytes, they use SPF and yes pretty much the same so just paste the code in there and you are done. After verifying is done, you will need to set the MX record, if you are using Exabytes then just follow what I fill up in the above picture. But if no then you can set it on the cpanel option of your website. Just cut and paste the MX record from this:

Anyway if you have hard time even trying to set the verification code then I suggest you to contact your domain support team. Because I did that too, and they gave me a link to manage my domain setting.. it had more option then the picture above. I didn’t know there was another site to set all this as I don’t have the cpanel anymore.

Seems like this is the only issue at the moment one of the users suggested to do a small patch update to fix those minor issue which should be out by tonight on Lee time zone. There are some users who are having some other problem but from the looks at it, most of it were due to corrupted download I assume. Then again I have not installed it yet because I WAS OUT THE WHOLE DAY!!!!

Anyway be flashing it once I am done copying all my backup back into my DHD sd card. I did a quick format on  my sd card, then going to use the full wipe script, next would be installing the new based then WEEEEEEEEEEEEEE LeeDroid V5 for my DHD

 

If you are on HTC Desire HD, feel like using a custom rom, but don’t know which is the best that suit your taste?

For my case I like it as simple as it can be so after reading all the custom rom available comparing their issue, problems, fault… and yes.. took me some days or weeks to finally decide, I picked LeeDroid.

I don’t find that very original where movie that are being edited & removed some scene are still being considered original? If this

Facebook why I can’t friend myself

Since I know myself, I guess it is best I click ‘Send him a friend request” and hope he reply me. But no Facebook didn’t allow me.

They suggested me to send a friend request but then didn’t allow me to do so. At the moment I am still trying to organize my timeline so it still be looking messy when you brows my page

How to make TM Operator feel dumb

Most Streamyx user by now should know the procedure to file a report if your internet line goes down. My one went down last night around 11pm and was inform that my account is being suspended for not paid. Only problem was, the last month bill was paid already and they have not even issue this month bill. So what is this TM operator talking about?

She could not answer me then advise me to ask the billing department tomorrow morning. So I said good night and yes a bit annoyed but we can’t really do anything about it and went go bed thinking how to start cursing at them tomorrow morning.

As morning arrive, I went to the office and started calling the billing department at 100. Spoke with the operator and she then inform me there is nothing wrong with my account…. (SO WHAT THE FUCK WAS GOING ON?????) I told her off asking why did the tm operator last night told me to call up the billing department. She could not answer and told me she will transfer me to the technical department (They start passing to the right people once you rise up your voice, so do it often!!).

Again it was another lady operator on the phone, I told her the grandmother story from 11pm till the billing operator story and she just kept quiet (seems like she is used of listening to crap). Anyway I gave my username and phone number then she asked back the regular question.

Operator: is your computer connected to a wireless connection or cable?
Me: It is on cable, I tried another new and there is still no connection. The DSL light is stable for both ADSL ROUTER but could not get connected. I checked the log in the router and it said username/password authentication failed says the log.
Operator: ok sir, what windows are you using sir?
Me: (With out hesitation I try saying a non common operating system) I am using Ubuntu a linux operating system.
Operator: Windows Ubuntu sir?
Me: (TRYING HARD NOT TO LAUGH) No, it is a Linux distro called Ubuntu which is a operating system too.
Operator: Ok sir, so you are using Windows Linux Ubuntu?
Me: YES! (Just to make her feel happy so I said yes HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA)
Operator: Sir this is your report number “xxxxxxxx” do you need any other assistant sir?
Me: no, thank you.
Hang up.

So moral of the story, try not to ask so much question and just put internet down if someone already did everything including changing modem and still can’t get connected. Just noted down “user streamyx account has a problem” or any other much more easy sentence to understand.

Like I mention on my previous post regarding XDA Developers. They decided to move to another host which does not support SOPA. XDA to Go Dark on Jan 18th at 8AM but I don’t know what GMT maybe in U.S time zone, still I don’t know what time would that be in +8 GMT.

XDA Forum is moving away from GoDaddy

Majority mobile hacking geek would know what forum am I talking about, then again just for a short brief;

Because of the recent activities from “Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA)” XDA communities have decided to move away from GoDaddy Hosting company. Go Daddy Group which fully support SOPA would put site like XDA at risk of being shut down or XDA would be forced to switch to a review system, where the forum moderators would have to inspect and approve every post on every sub-forum. XDA admins and moderator of XDA forum communities decided to go ahead with such plan after a long debate among themselves.

This is what they said:
"We had a long debate among admins and moderators about the best way XDA can combat this legislation. Several sites (most notably, Reddit) have decided to go dark on January 18th from 8AM to 8PM. A blackout of XDA, a site with users likely already educated on the legislation, seemed a bit like preaching to the choir.

Quite frankly, we don’t think a blackout is enough. We need to motivate XDA members to get involved and help us fight the fight. So– beginning at 8AM ET on January 18th, the xda-developers.com domain WILL go dark. When you come to the site, you will see links to information about SOPA and the damaging impact it will have on the free Internet. Visitors from the United States will also see a link to an online pledge. Users who choose to sign their name to the pledge are agreeing simply to contact their local Senator or Representative (via phone or email) and politely voice their opposition to the bills. Once 50,000 people have made the pledge, XDA will go back up. We will provide links to help you find the contact information for the appropriate member of Congress. We hope we hit 50,000 pledges quickly. If not, we’ll match Reddit (and hopefully many other sites) and return online at 8PM ET.”

For U.S citizen who wish to participate in the protest, you can head to Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF). EFF have created a page for how you can do your part to oppose this legislation that would allow the US to firewall content from their own citizens.

Slow internet connection?

Since last week most of the streamyx user have been feeling slow internet surfing, video streaming such as youtube and so on. It is all due to a fault on the Asia-America Gateway (AAG) submarine cable network between Tungku in Brunei and Lantau in Hong Kong linking Malaysia to the United States and North Asia.

In a more simpler explanation or example could be such as this scenario:

“The usual road which Najib usual take in the morning to reach his office is block due to landslide. Where only alternative is using a old road which is single lane and this affect all the other few million workers. Which will cause a massive traffic jam just to reach the destination making him late for his Monday meeting in the office.”

INTERNET SERVICES DISRUPTION DUE TO AAG FAULT - RESTORATION UNDERWAY

Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) wishes to announce that our consortium members have detected a fault on the Asia-America Gateway (AAG) submarine cable network between Tungku in Brunei and Lantau in Hong Kong linking Malaysia to the United States and North Asia. Immediate restoration works are underway from Saturday, 7 January 2012 and are expected to be completed on Friday, 13 January 2012. 

TM has taken pro-active steps by optimizing our networks to reduce congestion, thus, minimizing the impact to our users.

However, despite these initiatives, customers using Internet nationwide may experience some degree of service degradation during this exercise.

Internet users may experience some degree of service degradation such as slow browsing and high latency while accessing international websites mainly hosted in the United States (US), North Asia and Europe. Customers using Virtual Private Network (VPN) and other critical business applications linked to US, North Asia and Europe may also experience some level of service degradation. 

TM shall provide necessary updates on the progress of the restoration works, and would like to elicit feedback from our customers on the quality of service experienced. 

We apologize for any inconvenience caused and would like to assure customers that we are undertaking all necessary measures to ensure that customers experience uninterrupted service.

Now not everyone can fly...

With the recent merger of the only two airline in Malaysia, we are force to pay more as there are no more other alternative choice. For most people it only be a dream for them to actually fly now days. The ticket price be higher then the usual because of this recent move which has some political involvement. Leaving Tony Fernandes no choice, since he too is a puppet.

So will our only solution is to open our own airline?...
