HTC Sensation is on Digi now…

I manage to access Digi site using my phone and this is what I saw:

 

I just got my HTC Desire HD last week.. was it a good buy or not? I don’t know but well 100 difference only.. But yes I am slightly regretting now after looking at this package. Then again I am still happy I got a new phone lol plus I just ordered my Case-Mate Pop!!!! Black color hehehe

Also I still can’t access Digi website on Streamyx. I think it is the same as everyone else, they blocked streamyx ip range for some odd reason? dunno. Digi said this on facebook:

People are complaining, well I can’t access my account to view some stuff too so I am ranting here about it. Last week the 3g connection network was down, some people can’t even get the Digi signal (including myself) some could not surf. But those on the normal D50 and so on plan were fine.

I some how get the feeling they are being DDOS’ed or worst someone manage to break into their server lol Anyway join Digi Fanpage. You get your updates from it.

Digi Free Broadband that cost me RM42.90

I was given a free broadband plan (just sim card) which is usable for 6 months. My friend got it from a annual digi dinner thing for all the hand phone shop community in Kota Kinabalu. At registration I was inform to pay advance RM30 in case I forgot to terminate it after 6 months of using. This is one of digi plan where they will charge according to the plan every month after the promotion was over. Where I did ask if I could take back the advance payment after 6 months, they counter said yes. So why should I not apply? So then today was already 6 months since I applied for it. I was inform that I had another 3 months to use for free and not get back my RM30. So I was like WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?? ah nevermind then, he inform me I could pay later but like I still need to pay it in the end right?

I insisted on terminating it and so he proceeded terminating it and then came another bill asking me to pay RM12.90 and like what is this for again? He bla bla bla bla and bla bla bla where none of it made any sense to me. I asked if he could just deduct from the 3 months advance payment which is not refundable and he said no. So like I had to pay additional rm12.90 despite paying RM30 for another 3 months advance which is not refundable? This is a bit too silly and more like cheating the consumer. 

Why in the first place they said it was free when I had to fork out RM42.90 just to use it and end it? Since it was not nice of me to argue with the guy over there on this matter so I asked the online D’Chat thing. But only to be ignored:

No respond after asking all that lol, I guess the guy on the keyboard too could no say anything because he himself know what they did is cheating. Well it may be a small amount but cheating 1 sen or 5 sen is still cheating. At lease I got a reply on facebook but then he just said the same thing as they did in the Digi outlet at api-api centre

Notice a typo there lol wanted to say trial but I end up typing “trail” hahaha well then again I still got cheated.  Moral of the story? there are no such thing as free stuff anymore. So when someone claim it is free, beware he is trying to scam you into something just like Digi did to me and my friend.

But there is always E-Tribunal who claims:

“You feel cheated? Claim your right here. Fee can be paid via FPX payment online, counter or Post Money.”

 

I am still trying to fill up, a bit confusing because I was filling up another section and not this E-Tribunal thing just now lol

Gaya Street night market

I was at gaya street last saturday night time, went there after attending Aziz second day wedding thing. Anyway the street was colorful and yes main reason of me going there was to take photo. Then again seems like I failed to get any good effect photo but did manage to get a good shot of some girls hahaha

 

The street was just pack of people visiting the night market bringing their family and spouse. Not only attracting family and couples, but from what I notice.. almost everyone seems to be holding a DSLR. I guess it is really becoming a trend to own 1 now days due to its capability compare to a digital camera.

Anyway spotted a few stalls which was difference from the rest, why? because they are giving out prize!!! yes it was a game stall!!! traditional games as in none game console or anything to do with digital lol

This guy caught the heart of this 3 young girls, I am not too sure if they were interested in the product he was promoting or him.. Then again only the 3 kids stopped to look at him other then me..

This is one of the phone I would not mind buying if I could afford it, first of all it has a touch screen and where it is way much easier just touch then press a button. I guess by now most of you Digi postpaid users would have receive a notification from Digi. Saying:

Where they even give you the formula and to your Bonus Link card that you registered on your number to calculate it:

Why Smartphones can be Dumbphones

For most people smartphone are like something you must have even thought majority would not know how to utilize 100% of its capability. But for a I.T person, it is a must to own such a device which can be called a smartphone due to the features, style and yes how convenient it can be for the I.T literate people. Most people talks how good this phone are but what are the things that can make you look dump or maybe just too smart and thinking you be saving a lot of time but well like everyone else you end up loosing more.

So what kind of dump thing could happen while using a smart phone? well there are all kind of features available such as A-GPS which i doubt not everyone knows how to use its free services. Another would be using your smart phone email client this is such a simple utility which allows you to download your email right into your palm. But the best of all is using it to synchronize with your laptop, in other words to make it work together with your very own laptop!!!

You can synchronize your email, appointments, birthdays, event, contacts, and so on. Then again what is the worst thing could happen? Well I am on a digi postpaid, where I use around rm50-90 every one.  Because few days before that I met one of my friend who was on Digi Prepaid. He was showing off how he could surf the net on his phone and download stuff into his memory card. Then later on open up on his laptop just for RM5 a day.Where that RM5 was stuck into my head for the whole week as my friend mention Digi prepaid user are only charge RM5 for the usage of a whole day!! so wow digi is so good I thought…

This is already considered cheap but then one day I was just being to smart and yes made my smartphone into a modem. I used it to get connected to the internet with only a GPRS connection available at that area to send an email along with 5 pictures. It took only 10 minutes and I was saying “WAAAAA so siokkk” so I open up my msn messenger while waiting and was chatting with few of my friends as I was waiting for the pictures to be attached.  So after the 10 minutes I shut down my laptop and off I go to drive back home as I already completed my job :D

It was like the first week of the month and well while driving about 40 minutes after sending that email. I receive a SMS from Digi an SMS I could just never forgot. Your credit limit has already reached 80% of it usage.. I was wondering eh.. 80%.. I am on rm50 package. The credit limit is rm400… OMG 80% is like 300++++++++++ ALAMAK.

I stopped driving, then key in *128*1*1# onto my screen and yes I saw an Unbilled amount of RM300 plus. It just struck my head and like how can this happen, omg this figure made me confuse and I just had to rush back home to check my Unbilled Transaction on digi OCS. Where I saw the statement showing what is eating up all my credit limit.. a figure I could never forget…:

RM201.30 for my GPRS usage!! Weee plus my phone bill it was 300+!!!!! WAAA  DIE LAR there I was being dumbfounded by the figure as I was inform by my Digi Prepaid user friend once you use till rm5 it just get stuck there for the whole day. Quickly I had to ask Digi and to get some explanation where I clicked on D’Chat to get some answers.

So dumbfounded, frustrated and confuse I needed to get my answer from the Digi operator that time. It was night time and well D’chat was operating till night time too which made me happy a bit. So quickly chatted with the operator asking why am I charge RM201 and not RM5. Where finally the operator told me the answer.. the RM5 is only for Digi Prepaid user and where I was on Digi Postpaid.

Sadly enough I had to accept that explanation but the operator was good enough to ease my pain by information that for postpaid user the RM148 is the maximum that will be charged for the whole month. Where it will not go any higher, so true enough that did make me a bit happy.  But well RM5 and RM148 that is just a bit tooo much difference. Then again it was my fault for not double checking on that RM5 promotion.

 

Digi going green or stressing up people?

Well remember that time when I was posting about stopping your Digi paper bill?.. omg that was January!!! and  I thought February… well anyway I am still receiving the paper bill. So how many months was that… January, February, March and April alamak 4 month lar suda.

Which means 4 x 3= rm .. er.. oh RM12 this is a lot!!! haha jk this is enough to feed me a day, enough for a primary student for 2 days, and enough for a beggar 3 days of meal. Yes it takes 4 months plus (I be receiving another last Hard Copy statement bill for April) and I am set to save the tree’s around the world.. I think. But then again this is no difference then the Government?? Did digi just go private sector to government sector??? What the happen already?? It does make me piss off every month logging into OCS, click on D’chat, and pop out the same question every month and getting the same answer every time. I think the D’chat operator are starting to recognize me and already prepare a auto reply script lol.

If I knew this was going to happen I would have save all the chat log with them and well post it here. Then again this might be the last time I ask the same question with them but well here is the log:

Well I can’t seem to take a screenshot with the picture or video but there are actually 2 missing box at the picture above 1 is my face and another is Griselda.

 

I am using my Sony Ericsson W850i still and yes there was no problem, lag, or what ever problem during the call. So far there have been no announcement on Digi website, but I am not the other person who notice this. Griselda friend tested this few weeks ago too when she suddenly notice the 3g icon on her phone and then tried video calling Griselda. Where I would say they are testing it on random Digi users.

Digi users now might just be able to do Video Call too in the near future :D

 

Digi Broadband Package

Well for those Digi users especially in Kota Kinabalu would have notice Digi road show in few areas. At the moment they are trying to promote their broadband service and well I could say it be reasonable for the rich. Like just look at the package:

Usage volume is calculated based on monthly bill cycle.
All speeds shown are average speeds which can be higher during non-peak hours.

Well I am using streamyx also with tm hospot almost every where & also free wifi provided by most cafe. Why would you want to subscribe to this kind of service?

If you are a businessman or women, I would recommend you to apply for this service. As you need to travel and there are certain time when streamyx is just hopeless. So those so called free wifi, tm hotspot, yes they be down if the line is down again. If you are a Malaysian I am very sure you have subscribe to streamyx and have cursed during midnight either because of the slow connection or it is just down again for some odd unreasonable reason.
