#PotongLine parody video by Red FM

Why study in Malaysia?

We been told to leave Malaysia if we don't like how they do things here. This is one of the the new trend spoken by UMNO people. Now not only do they ask real Malaysian to leave, they even make sure the younger generation are treated like Animal.

Students are being told to have their meal in school changing room as the headmaster claim school’s canteen was undergoing renovation works and thus had little choice but to provide the shower room area for them to take their meals. Like there is still so much more suitable location to choose as a place to rest and take their meal but they choose the changing room. You don't need to be a scientist to figure this out nor you need high intelligent, I mean there is always the Classroom?

I mean this issue has been going on for few days now, but the Headmaster and the teacher kept digging their own grave. Some of the teacher even asked the students if their parents had taken the photos. I hope they find out which teacher asked that question and question her back why is she asking such question. I would have done the same, also here is the best part I just read from Free Malaysia Today:

"The parent of a standard two child, known only as Nitha, denied allegations that the canteen was closed because of renovation work.

“They were only changing the wooden doors of the teachers’ canteen to glass doors, which is adjacent to the students canteen. Why the need to cordon off the students canteen?” asked Nitha.

“The doors were only changed yesterday which probably took several hours, so they were lying when they said renovation works started in March,” she added."

So the canteen have been close since March and they only did that much work? I bet they called superman to renovated the canteen which only took several hours.

Now as a person who is teaching the younger generation, he should know how to apologize if he or she did a mistake. No matter how he like it, the canteen could have been used and he didn't want the student to use it just because it is a fasting month and they had to wait for superman to complete the few hours work renovation. I mean you don't ask someone else to apologize on your behalf in front of all the parents.

As as a Headmaster, he should have shown a good example and not hide somewhere in the canteen or toilet while asking this P Kamalanathan to apologized on your behalf. Does he think the people will not talk about this current action? He already made the student eat in the changing room, even his teachers seems to be questioning the student whos parent was it that took the photo, now he is hiding somewhere in the school and asking someone else to apologised. Even his own daughter is begging the public to give him another chance.

So why is Mohd Nasir Mohd Noor the headmaster of SK Seri Pristana not making a public apology and resigning? The daughter is claiming that her dad is the most motivated headmaster, also says “He comes back every day from work boasting about his school’s potential, about how the kids have grown better in both academics and co-curiculum,”

I am not too sure if those words fit his current situation, not coming out to face the public, not apologizing, and currently hiding somewhere.

Then again I bet he must be happy now, for his action has not only bring trouble but also MONEY. As the Deputy Education Minister P Kamalanathan says:

“I will suggest to the ministry to provide more funds for SK Seri Pristana for upgrading purposes. I will start the ball rolling by giving them a donation of RM10,000,” he said.

So the school gets fund for making their student eat in the changing room? Some how I get a feeling someone is going to get rich in this new controversial.

Malaysia Top student not good enough for local public universities

"KUALA LUMPUR: They are among the brightest students in the country and yet were deemed not good enough for local public universities.

Eight students who scored cumulative grade point average of 4.0 were not offered any courses at the public universities despite successfully submitting their forms to enter the universities.

MCA education bureau chairman Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong said he could not accept the Education Ministry’s excuse that technical error was among the reasons why many top scorers either failed to obtain places at public universities or did not get courses of their choice. “They obtained 4.0 CGPA. Don’t tell me they do not know how to fill a form." The Star - Link

This is not really something new in Malaysia, if you are indian, chinese, kadazan or any other race that is not UMNO Bumiputra. You be having a hard time trying to get such good offer. One of the many reason why most Malaysian student goes oversea to study and would prefer not to come back.

Then again Malaysia is not even top 10 place to study, plus I do believe most of the educators are not well train. I mean you have discipline teacher calling their student prostitute, teacher insulting the king and even teachers raping underage student in Malaysia.

So why study in Malaysia? I know most Nigerian and China come to Malaysia just for the student visa and end up doing some other stuff. While the real student who wants to study but are not Bumiputra 1st class, have a hard time getting scholarship or loan.

Facebook Home

Finally I get to install facebook home after reading the new from slashdot.org. Which seem much better then the standard Facebook App for Android devices (well just the new permissions to allow it to collect data about the apps you are running, other then that everything seems fine I think?). To get it all you need to do is go to this link:

(I can assure you this is not a virus)

Another way is to search for facebook on your google playstore and click on the link under What's new, there you will see the link is being posted.

So after clicking on that link which will open your Android device browser, it will open up your Google Playstore or there be a popup asking what to do so just choose google playstore.  I don't know why was it hidden from search, could have just been me but I don't know.

Then again this is what I got when it opened up on google playstore:

This item isn't available in your country.

So fuck you facebook.

What is Facebook Home?
Facebook Home is software for your phone designed to put your friends above everything else. You can download Facebook Home for free or purchase it pre-installed on a phone. Facebook Home works together with the Facebook for Android and Facebook Messenger apps to enable its main features:

Pakatan Rakyat on Google Advertisement

I was browsing some regular site then this google advertisement pop out and just made me stop reading half way lol,

I didn't really expected any political party to advertise them self over the internet like this, then again it is one legal way hahaha.

Pakatan Rakyat - Wikipedia:
Pakatan Rakyat or PR (English: People's Pact / People's Alliance is an informal Malaysian political coalition. It currently controls four state governments while in opposition to the ruling Barisan Nasional at the federal level.

The political coalition was formed by the People's Justice Party (PKR), Democratic Action Party (DAP), and Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) on April 1, 2008, after the 12th Malaysian general election, having previously formed the Barisan Alternatif (Alternative Front) in the 10th general election. On April 20, 2010, the Sarawak National Party (SNAP) officially joined as a member of the Pakatan Rakyat after being expelled from Barisan Nasional, but quit the coalition on May 6, 2011.

The former three parties had worked together in the 12th Malaysian general election, in which they gained control of five state assemblies and made significant gains at the federal level, denying the Barisan Nasional a two-thirds majority in the federal parliament. With the establishment of the Pakatan Rakyat coalition, the state governments of Kelantan, Kedah, Penang and Selangor are known as the Pakatan Rakyat state governments. The government of Perak was under Pakatan until February 2009, when Barisan Nasional claimed power by defecting of 3 Pakatan's state assembly member as independent member who support the Barisan Nasional ruling, causing a constitutional crisis which end up with the winning of Barisan Nasional following the judgement of the federal court.

Pakatan Rakyat is to be collectively led and managed by all constituent parties and pledges to uphold the rights and interests of all Malaysians. Each political party in People's Alliance has its own ideology; PKR promotes its ideals that revolves around social justice and anti-corruption themes, PAS with its aim to establish Malaysia as a nation based on Islamic legal theory and DAP with its secular, multi-racial, social democratic ideals.

Petitioning Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak

bog

This petition will be delivered to:

Prime Minister of the Federation of Malaysia

Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak

President of the Republic of the Philippines

President Benigno S. Aquino III

SABAHANS REJECT SULU & PHILIPPINES CLAIM ON SABAH / SABAH MENOLAK TUNTUTAN SULU DAN FILIPINA TERHADAP SABAH

On the 9th of February 2013, an armed group representing themselves as the Royal Security Forces of the Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo invaded Lahad Datu, Sabah, Malaysia with orders from Jamalul Kiram III. Kiram is one of the many claimants to the throne of the now defunct Sultanate of Sulu.

Their objectives were to assert an unresolved territorial claim to eastern Sabah. The standoff with Malaysian authorities began peacefully at first but erupted into violence on the 1st of March resulting in casualties, some fatal.

We appeal to the international community to acknowledge the people of Sabah’s right to self-determination; to endorse the state’s constitutional sovereignty of the Malaysian government as valid and the desire of Sabahans to permanently reject the Sultanate of Sulu’s claim on our home.

Sabah Native Jimmy Wong has been stripped of his Native Certificate

“KOTA KINABALU: Sabah's sole DAP assemblyman Jimmy Wong has been stripped of his Native Certificate - a document certifying his bumiputra status in the state.

State Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Hajiji Noor told the state assembly that a probe by a special board found that Wong, the Sri Tanjung assemblyman, was not qualified to hold the certificate.” The Star - By RUBEN SARIO

It didn’t take that long to check on this one particular guy, why? because he is the opposition. The government will do anything to make sure the opposition loose the next general election. Checking their bumi status is one of them, how do they check if he is a kadazan, suluk, or bugis that is local? they check it by their parents. So if he is married to a local, who is a kadazan, or sino he still can’t follow the wife or husband race in Malaysia…. wait.. no actually that is only for West Malaysia.

In Sabah I remember you can follow either one religion & race. Not a really common knowledge but yes it is possible due to the difference law we have. If your wife is a kadazan and you are a japanese, it is possible to follow the spouse race and religion then again due to the Federal Government seems to be slowly changing everything about the 20 points agreement including our religion. Why do I know about this? My grandfather was one of those who change his race and followed my grandmother. But yes he was not the only one.

Then again it could be a issue he use against the court later on if his wife is a local. Anyway if they got the time to check on one parliament bumi status, why don’t they check on all those PTI who manage to get blue MyKad? I mean they should enforce the royal commission of inquiry regarding this issue. So what is actually holding them up?

Phantom Voters

Is all I can say think off.. In one of Najib previous statement, he said “Sabah & Sarawak is B.N fix desposit” Google It. Makes you wonder if there is any deeper meaning to it. For most Malaysian in the west they be thinking like are Sabahan & Sarawakian that stupid to give their full support with B.N? Yes I have seen comments in forums, RPK blog, and so on. I mean like Sabah did not accept any post dated cheque, then claim their were cheated (On the news) after trying to cash out on the written date of the cheque. Plus if you all notice why are they not doing the royal commission of inquiry even after being pressured by the Sabahan.

Well I would assume that majority of those voters are part of Project I.C and yes they were once non Bumi Sabahan. So will their bumi status be stripped if this was true? I hope so. Because it is not fair for Jimmy Wong to be the only one stripped his bumi status because he is a not a converted local bumi chinese. Converted as in changing his religion, then again what can the real Local Sabahan do now since the converted to local native population is more then the real local? This is really a twisted work of Project I.C and to the person who suggested this project. I hope he get sodomized in hell by Hitler.

WikiSabah News: RCI, Mahathir Wajar Dihukum Mati?

“"SAYA terkejut ketika Pesuruhjaya Polis Sabah, Maulana Babjee memanggil saya dan mengarahkan saya membunuh beberapa orang Kadazan dan Cina untuk mencetuskan rusuhan kaum. Saya tergamam!" kata Mantan Ketua Daerah Sandakan, OKK Asainar Bin M.P. Ebrahim @ Hassnar.

Asainar Bin M.P.
.”

English translation:

“I got shock when the police Commisioner of Sabah, Maulana Babjee called me and instructed me to kill a few Kadazan and Chinese to start a racial war. I became speechless.” said Mantan the chief for Sandakan district, OKK Asainar Bin M.P Ebrahim @ Hassnar.

Asainar Bin M.P Ebrahim @ Hassnar is one of ISA most straight forward guy who bring up the PTI and Project I.C issue. He was one of the 52 prisoner in ISA who betrayed the syndicate of Project I.C.

Please read more on WikiSabah : RCI, Mahathir Wajar Dihukum Mati?

Known since a long time ago, but only difference is this story has more details. Mahathir wanted more muslim voter, that is why those who wish to get pr status at Sabah are still being asked to convert till today if they want a faster process.

Then again can't really do anything about it now... how do we fight off those people? by court? heh... they can talk all they want in court & news but nothing will happen. I am not piss of because there are more muslim or more hindus or any other religion. I am more piss off because most west Malaysian think we are fucking dumb for voting B.N and like the real truth is those NEW SABAHAN'S voted them. So what can the real native do about this new Sabahan? I don't think even Anwar has an answer to this, or any of the current leader has a better solution.

But I do believe if the STAR were ever win, they would do it the hard way and it would look more like a warzone by then lol. But what are the chances of that happening at the moment? Zero. Be it SAPP, STAR, PKR, or DAP which seems to be on the news now days most of the time all has their own hidden agenda, I am not sure who is the best but majority has lost trust in this people. What we really now is someone who is still fresh, with high motivation and yes a leadership quality to lead a new army. Because of all this PTI who has a PR now in Sabah are supporting UMNO/BN parties. Yes they have already overthrown the real native population here and we can’t do anything legally to stop it.

Asking for the impossible.

As usual if you touch any religious issue moreover with the Malaysia official religion. You be hunted down like a animal, badword, court, police report and many more threatening event to your life. That if you insulted them, well majority would do the same I guess if there was no apology. But asking more then once apology mean you are just being an bitch.

“PETALING JAYA: The Home Ministry is not satisfied with the explanation from The Star over the picture of Erykah Badu with tattoos with the word “Allah” in Arabic on her body.” The Star News

What more can The Star offer to this home ministry if an apology is not enough? I mean he ask for a explanation, they gave him the explanation. But he wants more detailed explanation as he was not satisfied with the current explanation? like what the fuck does he really want?

If he wants money, he should just ask it and stop making it like Erykah Badu tattoos is going to cause Malaysia to be destroyed. Saying this saying that, this people really just talk too much. Is it really hard to ask what kind of explanation they want? He can just call over the mobile and ask for it like this:

Mobile Conversation
The Home Ministry: I can stop being a bitch if you pay me RMXXX,XXX.00 and I want your staff Ms. Slut outside your room to be in xxx hotel, vip room no 1.
The Star: I can pay you but as for the staff… she don’t dare to go she said…
The Home Ministry: You can continue on getting bitched by me then.
The Star: no no I send her over, right away please give me about half an hour and she meet you up.
The Home Ministry: Ok.

See what's so hard asking like a boss, but if money is not what he wants then this home ministry really just want some whore attention like a slut in the classroom.

Spectators of fireworks shows can be arrested!!!!!!

Seems like Sabah Customs Department acting director Janathan Kandok and Kota Kinabalu City police Public Order and Traffic Chief Deputy Supt Peter Limbuas are making are trying to gain some fame or just showing how smart they are?

“KOTA KINABALU: Anyone playing illegal fireworks during Chap Goh Meh on Monday can be arrested.

The joint warning by police and Customs comes following the death of Shaow Yong, 26, who had his face blown off while playing fireworks outside his Taman Seputeh house here during the wee hours of Chinese New Year.

He said even people watching others playing the banned fireworks could be arrested.”

Read more on The Star

So like any other news, we start discussing about it what we should not do and since we inform by our religion you must never break the law. This is what we discuss about on Facebook:

hahahabanned

We used to make fun of saying they only do a raid once in a blue moon just to show face. But after reading this news, I guess it is time to say good bye to Fireworks. It is illegal to even look at it, I hope some idiot don’t shoot one up the sky which will show the whole Kota Kinabalu or everyone in the city be arrested.

I am not joking! so DON’T SHOOT YOUR ROCKET UP THE SKY or WE ALL GET ARRESTED!!!

Buy from Ebay

I don’t find that very original where movie that are being edited & removed some scene are still being considered original? If this
is allowed then there should be no problem copying someone else work and just edit some slight story about it and say this is my on copy right. Seems the same to me, thus this makes you wonder why we are top 10 in the world making Pirated movies.

“cara kita”? More like people are Laughing at Malaysia. First Najib says remove ISA  it was such a big thing, I mean the whole world applaud and was proud about it. But then he created a new law to replace the ISA. Wow I guess this is how people like you mean by “Cara kita” to shock the world. Fantastic job I must say and yes there is more but well that was one of the best example..

“mata sepet” ?? LOL My eyes are big and ROUND, this is a problem with people like you. Like to assume things, stay in U.S for 4 years but still don’t know how to study before saying things. No wonder you are back in Malaysia LOL

"hana yee"? Is that even your real name?

How to make TM Operator feel dumb

Most Streamyx user by now should know the procedure to file a report if your internet line goes down. My one went down last night around 11pm and was inform that my account is being suspended for not paid. Only problem was, the last month bill was paid already and they have not even issue this month bill. So what is this TM operator talking about?

She could not answer me then advise me to ask the billing department tomorrow morning. So I said good night and yes a bit annoyed but we can’t really do anything about it and went go bed thinking how to start cursing at them tomorrow morning.

As morning arrive, I went to the office and started calling the billing department at 100. Spoke with the operator and she then inform me there is nothing wrong with my account…. (SO WHAT THE FUCK WAS GOING ON?????) I told her off asking why did the tm operator last night told me to call up the billing department. She could not answer and told me she will transfer me to the technical department (They start passing to the right people once you rise up your voice, so do it often!!).

Again it was another lady operator on the phone, I told her the grandmother story from 11pm till the billing operator story and she just kept quiet (seems like she is used of listening to crap). Anyway I gave my username and phone number then she asked back the regular question.

Operator: is your computer connected to a wireless connection or cable?
Me: It is on cable, I tried another new and there is still no connection. The DSL light is stable for both ADSL ROUTER but could not get connected. I checked the log in the router and it said username/password authentication failed says the log.
Operator: ok sir, what windows are you using sir?
Me: (With out hesitation I try saying a non common operating system) I am using Ubuntu a linux operating system.
Operator: Windows Ubuntu sir?
Me: (TRYING HARD NOT TO LAUGH) No, it is a Linux distro called Ubuntu which is a operating system too.
Operator: Ok sir, so you are using Windows Linux Ubuntu?
Me: YES! (Just to make her feel happy so I said yes HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA)
Operator: Sir this is your report number “xxxxxxxx” do you need any other assistant sir?
Me: no, thank you.
Hang up.

So moral of the story, try not to ask so much question and just put internet down if someone already did everything including changing modem and still can’t get connected. Just noted down “user streamyx account has a problem” or any other much more easy sentence to understand.

Wikipedia Ubuntu:
Ubuntu (ʊˈbʊnt/ oo-boon-too)[5][6] is a computer operating system based on the Debian Linux distribution and distributed as free and open source software. It is named after the Southern African philosophy of Ubuntu ("humanity towards others").[7] Ubuntu is designed primarily for use on personal computers, although a server edition also exists.

Slow internet connection?

Since last week most of the streamyx user have been feeling slow internet surfing, video streaming such as youtube and so on. It is all due to a fault on the Asia-America Gateway (AAG) submarine cable network between Tungku in Brunei and Lantau in Hong Kong linking Malaysia to the United States and North Asia.

In a more simpler explanation or example could be such as this scenario:

“The usual road which Najib usual take in the morning to reach his office is block due to landslide. Where only alternative is using a old road which is single lane and this affect all the other few million workers. Which will cause a massive traffic jam just to reach the destination making him late for his Monday meeting in the office.”

Here is the full story of the internet disruption from TM webtsite:

Something worth to know about Malaysia

I got this from a undisclosed-recipients email, I don’t even know who send this but well let me just post it:

clip_image001

Don't mess with the Sugar King, Jibby

The following is a translation of the 忠政快讯 commentary on how Najib stole Robert Kuok's sugar business so that greedy UMNO cronies could enjoy the profits, and how Malaysia's economy suffered as a result.
Recently, the govt offended Robert Kuok.  As a result, the Malaysian economy suffered a great blow.  And now, after Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao's visit to Malaysia, Najib's administration truly understands Robert Kuok's influence in China.

Crony got richer, Malaysia got poorer

UMNO cronies are loyal when there's easy money for the taking.  To keep them happy, Najib twisted Robert Kuok's arm to get the profits from his sugar empire.  As a result, UMNO cronies got richer by tens of billions of ringgit.  But it caused a national loss of more than 200 billion for Malaysia as a whole!
(Those who have insider knowledge on this are still cursing until God knows when.)
So, the Malaysian sugar king was forced to leave his own country, but ironically, he has now become the world's sugar emperor.  How?  He bought the world's largest sugar mills in Australia, investing a cool 10 billion US dollars.
So, Najib's government benefited a few UMNO families at the expense of national interests.  Very ungrateful, when it is a known fact that Robert Kuok had given a lot of help to the Malaysian Govt for several decades.  A Chinese idiomatic expression calls this 'turning a pig's intestine inside out' because on the other side is a lot of shit.

Palm oil slap in the face

In the global political gossip columns, insiders are smiling because Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao's visit to Malaysia hit a snag with Najib.  How?  You see, before this visit, Najib and his cabinet had hinted several times that they hoped China would double the amount of palm oil imports from Malaysia.
China is the largest buyer of Malaysian palm oil.  But there is strong competition with Indonesia, which is trying to sell palm oil at lower prices to China and India.  Najib is very worried about this.  So during the official visit, he hoped to seal a new palm oil trading contract with China, to double the average of 10 million tonnes sold by Malaysia every month.
But Wen Jiabao said that this was impossible.  Najib was very disappointed.  He knew the Chinese market demand; even for China to import 1,000,000 tonnes per day is not a problem.  So where was the problem?
The problem was that Robert Kuok did not agree!
How was Robert Kuok able to influence China's decision?  Who owns the monopoly of China's national oil market?  The market leader is Arowana cooking oil, accounting for nearly 40% of the market.  And the Arowana cooking oil boss is, Robert Kuok!
Think about it.  If Premier Wen Jiabao had agreed to buy more Malaysian palm oil, who is going to refine it into cooking oil?  Privatised enterprises, of course!  With 40% market share, if the Arowana cooking oil company refuses the additional supply, how is the Chinese government going to utilise the extra crude palm oil?
Najib, insensible from the start, did not know that Kuok was so influential in China.  By helping UMNO cronies get rich, he jeopardized the prosperity of Malaysia and its ordinary people.

Ask what Kuok has done for his country

After losing his throne, the Sugar King left Malaysia, understandably disappointed and unhappy.  Many people still remember that, in the early days of Malaysia, we did not have aviation professionals, and the BN govt asked Kuok's father to help set up Malayan Airways.
In the 1970s, our maritime industry was also a vacuum, and Malaysian govt sent representatives to Hong Kong to request Kuok's help.  For the sake of national development, Kuok put aside the Group's business and returned to Malaysia to help establish a national shipping industry.  This later became MISC, the Malaysia International Shipping Corp.
When Malaysia repeatedly faced economy difficulties, Robert Kuok was a big help.  He even posted bail for MCA's Tan Koon Swan's CBT case.  The govt owes Robert Kuok a great deal, but it used strong-arm tactics to forcefully take over Kuok's sugar empire in Malaysia.  Truly ungrateful.

Kuok's relationship with China

When Deng Xiaoping announced China's reforms, he needed aid from generous overseas Chinese entrepreneurs.  Robert Kuok promptly joined other helping hands in the Chinese economic miracle such as Hong Kong's Henry Fok and Li Ka-shing.  Kuok was the first to respond to Deng Xiaoping in Beijing and built China's first five-star hotel (Shangri-La).
Kuok has over 30 years of friendship with China's leadership.  Najib failed to recognise this when he ate Kuok's sugar empire in Malaysia, partly to benefit the business connections of his greedy fat 'vampire' wife's family.  Imagine doing this to an international tycoon – what humiliation in return for patriotic help in the past, from his own country?
Early this year, Kuok announced plans to invest US$10 billion in Indonesia to develop refineries in the world's largest sugarcane growing areas.  The global economy was facing a downturn.  The Malaysian govt traveled the world to solicit investments.  How much was Malaysia’s foreign investment?  Kuok’s single investment in Indonesia was equivalent to US$10 billion!  Of course, when the news hit the papers, he was criticized for being 'unpatriotic', preferring to take so much money to Indonesia instead of Malaysia.  Can you smell the bullshit?
For the moment, Malaysia's palm oil trade with China will remain on agreed terms (no increase).  Indonesia has more palm oil than Malaysia – cheaper too.  Now that Kuok has invested so much money in Indonesia, its govt treats him like a god of wealth.  Certainly open to negotiations on anything.  Moreover, Indonesia has been eyeing the opportunity to take over the palm oil supply contract from Malaysia.

At least give the beggars something – frozen durian

Buying frozen durian was the consolation China gave instead of buying more Malaysian palm oil.
Business needs more than cow sense.  Who ever supplies millions of ringgit in frozen durian to a brand-new market with small durian consumption?  How much time and effort is needed to market frozen durian from Malaysia?  Thai durian does not sell well in China, let alone frozen durian from Malaysia.  If the market is proven non-receptive to frozen durian, how do we deal with return goods?  A total loss with capital.  Is this how to do business?
Kuok is not just China's top hotelier, king of cooking oil, and the world’s sugar emperor.  He is also the patent owner of the Coca-Cola soft drink brand in the Chinese market.  He is also involved in a diverse range of businesses in China, and has created millions of jobs there.  The Beijing central leadership has great respect for him as a savvy and powerful entrepreneur.  When the man speaks, the weight of his words can be far-reaching.
And yet, Robert Kuok is one of the few outstanding Malaysians who has never accepted any of the high-faluting titles which are churned out every year for 'distinguished' VIPs.  Many people address him as Tan Sri or Datuk Robert Kuok when in fact, he does not have such titles and needs none.

A must know info for Sabahan? – The 20 points on Wikipedia

Most of you I guess would not know this, well it is not really publicly announced by the Government due to some points that does not meet the Federal agreement such as point 1, point 2 & point 3? lol

Point 1: Religion

While there was no objection to Islam being the national religion of Malaysia there should be no State religion in North Borneo, and the provisions relating to Islam in the present Constitution of Malaya should not apply to North Borneo

Point 2: Language
  • a. Malay should be the national language of the Federation
  • b. English should continue to be used for a period of 10 years after Malaysia Day
  • c. English should be an official language of North Borneo for all purposes, State or Federal, without limitation of time.
Point 3: Constitution

Whilst accepting that the present Constitution of the Federation of Malaya should form the basis of the Constitution of Malaysia, the Constitution of Malaysia should be a completely new document drafted and agreed in the light of a free association of states and should not be a series of amendments to a Constitution drafted and agreed by different states in totally different circumstances. A new Constitution for North Borneo (Sabah) was of course essential.

Point 4: Head of Federation

The Head of State in North Borneo should not be eligible for election as Head of the Federation

Point 5: Name of Federation

“Malaysia” but not “Melayu Raya”

Point 6: Immigration

Control over immigration into any part of Malaysia from outside should rest with the Central Government but entry into North Borneo should also require the approval of the State Government. The Federal Government should not be able to veto the entry of persons into North Borneo for State Government purposes except on strictly security grounds. North Borneo should have unfettered control over the movements of persons other than those in Federal Government employ from other parts of Malaysia into North Borneo.

Point 7: Right of Secession

There should be no right to secede from the Federation[9].

Point 8: Borneanisation

Borneanisation of the public service should proceed as quickly as possible[9].

Point 9: British Officers

Every effort should be made to encourage British Officers to remain in the public service until their places can be taken by suitably qualified people from North Borneo[9].

Point 10: Citizenship

The recommendation in paragraph 148(k) of the Report of the Cobbold Commission should govern the citizenship rights in the Federation of North Borneo subject to the following amendments:

  • a) sub-paragraph (i) should not contain the proviso as to five years residence
  • b) in order to tie up with our law, sub-paragraph (ii)(a) should read “7 out of 10 years” instead of “8 out of 10 years”
  • c) sub-paragraph (iii) should not contain any restriction tied to the citizenship of parents – a person born in North Borneo after Malaysia must be federal citizen[9].
Point 11: Tariffs and Finance

North Borneo should retain control of its own finance, development and tariff[9], and should have the right to work up its own taxation and to raise loans on its own credit.

Point 12: Special position of indigenous races

In principle the indigenous races of North Borneo should enjoy special rights analogous to those enjoyed by Malays in Malaya, but the present Malaya formula in this regard is not necessarily applicable in North Borneo[9].

Point 13: State Government
  • a) the Chief Minister should be elected by unofficial members of Legislative Council
  • b) There should be a proper Ministerial system in North Borneo[9].
Point 14: Transitional period

This should be seven years and during such period legislative power must be left with the State of North Borneo by the Constitution and not be merely delegated to the State Government by the Federal Government[9].

Point 15: Education

The existing educational system of North Borneo should be maintained and for this reason it should be under state control[9].

Point 16: Constitutional safeguards

No amendment modification or withdrawal of any special safeguard granted to North Borneo should be made by the Central Government without the positive concurrence of the Government of the State of North Borneo

The power of amending the Constitution of the State of North Borneo should belong exclusively to the people in the state[9]. (Note: The United Party, The Democratic Party and the Pasok Momogun Party considered that a three-fourth majority would be required in order to effect any amendment to the Federal and State Constitutions whereas the UNKO and USNO considered a two-thirds majority would be sufficient.)

Point 17: Representation in Federal Parliament

This should take account not only of the population of North Borneo but also of its size and potentialities and in any case should not be less than that of Singapore[9].

Point 18: Name of Head of State

Yang di-Pertua Negara[9].

Point 19: Name of State

Sabah[9].

Point 20: Land, Forests, Local Government, etc.

The provisions in the Constitution of the Federation in respect of the powers of the National Land Council should not apply in North Borneo. Likewise, the National Council for Local Government should not apply in North Borneo[9].

WikiPedia:
20-point agreement (Sabah)
*************************************************

I don’t know when was this up but well nice work. Only thing now is what can the local leader do about it? bring to court but who be the judges? I can bet none of them are good or on the side that had his or hers on free will to judge such case. Pretty much this 20 points is already a old issue, most of the law have been changed and being agreed by state government and federal. I don’t even know what are the new law now days. It seems like now days in parliament it is more about Najib, Anwar and Rosmah? lol

Lets just hope one day we get our Independence.
