Honey Chicken in Papar?

There is a shop I would always eat if I stop by in Papar or pass by Papar. It is located at a row of old shops and infront of  S.K Papar.. er.. a school not sure if I did get that right but the google map is just below this post. Anyway here are some pictures of the shop:

It is best to eat the food that is being cook there rather then tapau (Takeaway) back home. Because once the food get cold.. it becomes sticky haha plus the chicken would not be crispy anymore… because he don’t mix straw with it while cooking... lol

Garmin Mobile XT

I have been playing around with GMXT (Garmin mobile XT) for a while now and finally thought of just posting it. I know most of you guys are wondering why should I a Sabahan would need such tool? Well first of all I am working in a real estate line (just in case you forgotten). .. wait I never did mention that.. oh nvm lol

Anyway I use this to pin point the exact location of that property. Where back in the office it be much more easier for my to create a map using Google Earth and not browsing around. Installed on my phone which uses Windows Mobile 6.1 and yes it does work well with my phone.

Most of the map I got were from malsingmaps forum, the guys there are very helpfull and yes if you need a map and using garmin. Do not hesitate to register yourself there, but do be active too. If you guys are wondering where to buy Garmin Mobile XT. Well you guys should know that it is a discontinued product one of the malsingmaps forum member got in touch with them and this if what the reply was:

I just forgot all about the Public forum and yes I did not attend it!!!!!  Then again where was I? well I was near kota Belud at a village called "Kampung Pituru”. What is Pituru? I have no idea.. sound like some old Japanese name. Anyway I went to see a beach land located there and well it is about 3 acres and facing Pulau Pandan. With white clean sand, lots of sea shell washed to the beach and not only that it is a private beach!!!!! Wish I could afford this then again I am just helping the owner to sell it.

Pc with this kind of hard drive you should not repair

capacities 4.3GB

I guess most of you guys would be wondering what is this large hard drive looking this. Well yes it is a hard drive and not a very new one just for you information. This is a Quantum Hard Driver, Bigfoot series where Bigfoot hard drive was a brand of hard disk marketed by Quantum Corporation in the mid-1990s which featured a larger physical size than hard disks typical at the time.

Bigfoot drives were produced in capacities of 1.28GB, 1.6GB, 2.1GB, 2.5GB, (single platter) 3.2GB, 4.3GB, 6.4GB, 8.0GB, 10.0GB, 12.0GB, 13.0GB, 19.2GB (double platter) and were produced by a variety of different plants in Malaysia, Singapore, Japan and other locations. The interface with the computer was an ATA-3 interface. Bigfoot drives were amongst the first to support Logical Block Addressing (LBA) and Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology (S.M.A.R.T.) monitoring.

 

So anyway why did I connect it with my external hard drive? erm.. well my regular hard disk reader which is just cable is lost. But the main reason for me to connect is just to check the windows version and before doing that a virus scan is a must. I am using AVG 8.5 and well the free version, but it still does the job. Most of you guys should do this before actually accessing the old hard drive to do backup and so on. As you might find stuff like this:

It is full of old virus too, not only the hard drive is old the virus too is old lol. 

This pc uses Windows 98 and well I don’t have windows 98 anymore. Also the hardware would not support the windows xp even if it does.. the pc would hang due to the old hardware it has.

So if you want to fix your PC and would like me to do it. Please at lease check if it is newer then Pentium 3 Processor or I cannot do anything with it.

My New temporary Identity Card

I went to JPN (Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara) today (Yesterday actually because it has past 12am). Thought of changing my I.C (Identity Card) at the same time but after looking at the form I got to fill up I just change my mind. So my main purpose to go JPN still is get a replacement for my MyKad. As many of you guys notice, the MyKad I am holding is just the same like many Malaysian. It has the same similar problem, not to mention the same damage too. I have met a lot of Malaysian who experience the same thing like what I have posted in my blog here (Click here to read about it).

So back to the main topic, about my new temporary I.D. It is much bigger, more flexibility, much thinner, and yes it is printed out of a laser printer. Here is a picture of it:

I did something that I never done before on all my I.C, driving license and student card. I smiled :D

As you can see it is just temporary, but I actually need to bring this around in my wallet? I mean just look at my old MyKad that has been place in my wallet:

Well then again it is just for 1 month. But there are case where people sometimes only get after like 6 months. That is a very long time and if you needed to open a bank account. The fucking bank would not allow you to do so with the temporary Identity Card. Yes I have experience it with RHB bank while trying to activate back my account, that was the reason why I changed my card last year.

So back to the main point, if your MyKad has a problem reading the chip, or there are crack just like most Malaysian buildings. It is time for you to change it, it just cost RM10. But if you insist on not paying it and would like to find a alternatively way. Go make a police report saying you were rob, along with your Identity Card taken. Just say you left your driving license, atm cards and so on back at home. After finishing the police report, go to JPN then tell them that you were rob and need a new MyKad. It be free from what I heard with few of my friends. Might be true but if anyone did it or experience being rob before please leave a comment about it because I never tried that yet.

Who would have thought a strippers can be tax by the government? Well it is a job but here is the thing I don't like about government. They want to tax as long they think it is a job. Legal or not legal both are the same to me, if you are running something illegal here and the cops find out. They have a chance to become the income tax agent. Yes, they will ask if you want to be arrested or pay the monthly tax(protection money).

Well apparently someone using a digi number +60164442515 claims I just won myself a free astro decoder. But then inform me I should tell my neighbor, friends, and family about it. This is how the conversation was:

Blogger Life VS Real Life

How many of you people ever thought of becoming a full time blogger? Everybody? some some? For me I have thought about this and always wondered about it too. So what are the first few things I should look for?
For me it is more to the payout. What are the first few things to highlight or that is common?

How much can I make?
How fast is the payment?
How convenient is it to take the money?
Will I be taxed?

Blogger Life
So lets be frank here; “How much do I really make from those advertisement serving program that pays you?”
Like me I have registered a few blogs & website, where I can generate about USD$0.30 – USD$1.12 roughly per day from AdSense. Where from Nuffnang I too make the same amount maybe slightly more. Initially at the end of the month I don’t think it be enough to even pay my TMNUT’S bill. But all this would increase depending on how much traffic does your blog or website receive and it increase as more people visit your blog or site.

Real Life
So in reality where I would mean “How much can I earn going out of my house and work under a chinaman boss?”
I have more then 5 years experience in the I.T field, I can easily Identify what is wrong with any I.T related problem and able to overcome it. Not all as there is still area which does not cover my knowledge as in Programming. Then again I always give the best to my employer where I be easily exploited and earning a static amount of payout at the end of the month. While the employer earns 3 or 4 times from what I earn maybe even enough to buy a brand new Ninja King.

How much would a Chinaman boss pay if he finds someone like me? I can say the roughly estimate pay I get while working for a company is MYR60.00 - MYR85.00 per day. I do know the figure but don't want to tell the world how much do I really earn right, so I divided it into 30 days.

But back to the main point, I can afford to pay my bill's loan and a bit of entertainment (Drinking alcohol). Where the insecure financial feeling is being reduce to a minimum state and usually would make anyone happy.

So lets compare between the two Job

So what about tax?

How many of us here have actually paid for tax? I have not registered myself, I don’t think I would want to to register for it as it is a repeating process till you die. Even if you do not have a income you got to submit your income tax form. Silly may it be but yes the government do not want to miss out their chance to tax the moment you make a come back :)

But for the tax thing, I am not fully aware myself if any of the Malaysian Blogger or Non Malaysian blogger are being taxed. As most would not want to write how much are they being taxed or nor do they want to be find out they are eligible to be taxed. I cannot talk much about tax because I am not eligible to be taxed yet, as the requirement in Malaysia to be tax are those earning MYR2,800.00 and above. But I think they rise it up to RM3,000.00 some time ago.

Performence in BodyShop 1 Borneo

I was in 1 Borneo for the past few days because my company had a roadshow. So yes at the same time there was like 2 big event and small one going on too. Here is just 1 of the small event that took place in 1 Borneo Bodyshop

This was the last performance that took place the 1st one was better then this idiotic dance lol

So anyway, I don't think I am taking the chance to stay here any longer and might just do it part time. Where I am thinking of getting back the old kind of work I been doing.

In reality..

Here I am getting ready to go 1 Borneo for our company roadshow. From what I heard yesterday, the location was bad, there were not a single person who dropped by to listen or even fill up for our company free lucky draw.

So Yes it is kind of demotivating now days with all kind of rumor going on, the economy is not helping out much too even with our fix return. Where I just hope there will be some deals from 1 Borneo or I just have to choose another job and do this part time.

Tiring monday

Well I did not manage to get enough sleep last night as I had to attend a urgent request to check one of my friends friend laptop. The laptop had more then 3 kind of virus and yes there were important document she needed to submit today. I spend more then 3 hours studying it and finally gave up. I have to take a few sample of the infected files by today and submit it to AVG with hope they give me a patch to fix all the permission setting for every file that is infected.

Why I say it is the permission setting? well I notice when I right click any file in the folder which is locked, I notice I cannot un-tick certain option. Where XP has this possible which is possible to set for every file which owner could only open it, delete it and so on.  So yes it was not really an easy work, where I could not complete it with out studying the virus first. But it was really interesting problem where I was still keen on fixing it haha anyway will be getting the external hard disk which has the virus in it by tonight. So I hope it be a fun week for me xD

Sabah International Expo 2008

Well it has really been a week of work for me. Not much excitement, money, or what can I say fun week. All because I had to work even today at our booth in 1 Borneo. From 10am till 10pm for the past 5 days, repeating the same line, same product, and same question. Looking at the same expression of the people gave after hearing our Bose Lifestyle 48 price. Then again I cannot say it was a boring week as rather a bit more relaxing then doing my regular job in the company.

I did a few things at the expo, one of them was accessing the wireless router. Yes they installed four wireless router all with default password and well I manage to get the streamyx details which is

I have not tried connecting using this account as I got like a bundle of streamyx account. More ever it could be a temporary account being setup just for this expo. Then again had fun changing the router password and giving the PICO guys a hard time bringing around their laptop wondering what has happen. If I was bad I would have uploaded the wrong firmware into each router and it be a useless at the end of the day. Then again I did not really had the time to do so lol...

But I did not have to do anything because 1 of the pc I explored had a brontok virus in it. Scary stuff more ever with people from all over the world bringing their xp laptop into the exhibition. I bet most of them are already infected with the virus, including the PICO people. Not to mention most of the booth owner there are not I.T literate. So they might just end up clicking the virus found in the shared folder of their computer haha...

Sabah International Expo Second Briefing

Well I went for the second briefing today as our company have a boot there. It was not really a normal briefing and was more like a heated brainstorming. The PICO people were being indirectly insulted and well pressured because of a parking issue. Where I kind of find it a bit silly, because in the first place the organizer chose the venue for the largest expo to be held. But they did not count it if 30,000-40,000 people who be coming would have any place to park. Not to mention they only notice this during the briefing and a heated agrument pop out just like that.

So what am I really complaining about? well this is mainly focus on developers and they are not small but for them to notice this fucking issue only today is a bit silly. They have been in this line like for years and all the building they build never had enough parking space. So WHY THE FUCK ARE THEY COMPLAINING ABOUT IT NOW. Centre Point never had enough space, same goes to Karamusing, Wisma Merdeka, and many more other area which is popular.

This does include Condominium, housing area, and well any other building made by the developoer (Maybe World Wide). WE WILL NEVER HAVE ENOUGH PARKING SPACEEEE.

They push the blame to the PICO people they hire and hope they solve it as soon as possible (Like that is fucking possible). Maybe the PICO people would suggest them to build another building just for that day for parking and ask them to build it as soon as possible. Is this possible? well the SHAREDA people should have thought about this before asking them to solve something which is beyone their control. Where at first I find them to be very professional, but now I changed my mind. Almost all the contractor have chinaman style and they claim to be professional but for real... I don't see anything professionally done after today's event.

My sunday..

I guess it has been a busy & tiring week again.. at lease I did not work till morning like last week. Apparently my current job is taking too much of my personal time. I hardly got time to drink my favored beer because I will get worried if I can do my job the next day, hardly got time to watch any new movie, can't even spend time now with my friends, and worst of all I even dream of doing my work while sleeping.

So basically I am mentally and physically exhausted. Another company has offered me a job and i am still negotiating with them for the pay and well benefit. Once I find the salary and benefit fits my need, will will hand in my resignation letter. Well because I do not want to jump unless I see everything in black & white first. I experience enough verbally promises which never being fulfill, so I would not like to take my chances for the next company or person who promise me stuff. Even my current boss now don't have anything black & white with me, so can you imagine of working under such environment?

There are things being promised but will it happen? I don't know. Because everything being mention verbally and there is no black & white. So what action can I do if none of it is being fulfilled? Nothing.

So I don't want to work under such situation where I cannot do anything, and the boss can do everything because there is no black & white. More ever if you are working more then 5 years and already have a wife, kids and so on... you be risking even more because you cannot resign by then already. Too much attachment.. by then he can ask you to do all kind of thing and make sure you do it or he kick you out. Labor law? erm.. might help out but in the end you still have to resign and start looking for a job.

Hope to go home and finish the job

after 12am
Hope to work another 1 or 2 hours and get double o.t

after 2am
Hope can continue on the job in the evening.

After 3am
Hope there is some faulty hardware and the equipment all explode and you get mc for the next few days because of the explosion.

After 4am
Time to look for another job in the morning papers.. Because your boss has a problem noticing his staff are not superman.

Busy Days...

I guess it has been some time since I posted something here. Well my work have been taking most of my time and my free time too. I still got tons of works here and it kind of sucks not being able to do any extra income. Not to mention I am in dilemma with the current situation.

I am being tempting to join another company at the moment, well not to mention the pressure I am getting with my current job. Few of the reason why I cannot make a decision;

• I just started in 1 April 2008 ( I want at lease 1 year or more if possible)
• Would want to handle some big project to be added into my curriculum vitae
• Having more network as I am being expose outside the company by my Boss
• I learn more then what I have from my previous employment
• My boss is promising me some stuff

Where even if I join a new company, the most I get is more pay and more likely I have to start from bottom again. Not to mention I might end up having more work, well which is why I am still considering all this. I got no issue with my boss or my colleague but the work we are doing is just taking too much time and well never ending problem. We have new site to do every week, but with just 3 permanent staff at the moment. How can we actually handle all those? Well that is likely my boss problem. So .. er yes that is an issue.. lol... and I guess most employer are like this. They find people the last moment when by then it be no use. Most company practice this, or what I mean to say is they try to cut cost and think the staff that did not leave are superman which is why currently I cannot post because I have been working till night most of the time. Look at this post time, it is like after 12 already? I got home like almost 12 I think.

So yes it has been really a tiring week for me not to mention I do not know if I am getting any bonus or comission from this current project we are doing.

Life sucks.

MY side income work..

Well for most of you people who knows me. I do computer servicing as my side income while still having a primary job. I have been doing this service for some time now and about the work... apparently I notice most of my client never notice about some things when I fix their pc.

• They ask to backup with out giving me their logon password
• Forgotten to delete some personal pictures
• Gave me the beg which include their personal diary or document
• Many more other personal stuff
• Did not remove their I.M logon password
  

Well even thought I notice all this, I do check it once in a while. Usually just their document or pictures.. and basically that just expose everything about them. So what do I do after finding out? Black Mailing? erm.. for real... nothing. As I don't find it fun to do so and well it just cause trouble.

Here are the things I can actually do even if you made sure I just format the pc and nothing else:

Logon pass not given?
I can use a simple brute force program and crack your xp or vista password in less then 20 minutes.

Delete all the personal files?
I can use a recovery program which can scan your hard disk for deleted files and back to the day you bought it.


So what can you do to protect yourself from someone like me?
Nothing


People still send their pc to me even thought knowing I can do all this. Because so far they have not seen them self on youtube or maybe lost a project. I still charge it cheap for people I know, sometimes free for close friends.

As for the stuff I mention above? well I don't really have much time to waste as I got a busy job now days. I can recover thousand of pictures, documents & so on. Would I really have the time to view them?
